Does anyone know what day they pay on? I wrote down the 23rd but just want to double check as I can't find where I originally got that date from!

I didn't. Should I contact them or maybe give them a couple of days? I just started shopping for them when the started doing the audits so I'm not real familiar with them. I don't want to jump the gun so to speak but if they somehow overlooked paying me I want to bring it to their attention.
@Pamala - I didn't either. I'll email tomorrow afternoon if I don't have it overnight; I'm in the same boat - started last month - so I have no clue what time, etc.

I don't want to jump the gun either but I'd like to be able to take care of some things sooner than later with the funds!
Oooops...cancel the question. Just got an email from Pay Pal saying they paid me.
Is this strictly an auditing company or do they perform mystery shops also? I got an e-mail from them today referring me to another audit company saying that I was a registered auditor with them. I can't find any record that I signed up with them. How are they to work for?

Around here it is mostly mystery shops. So far I haven't seen an audit.

I'm involved in one of their ongoing auditing projects. They are absolutely super to work with and communicate well. Payment is prompt. They are definitely on my favorites list.

All they have in my area are automotive related audits and wireless MS.
The good of this company is that if you do an audit for them, they reserve those audits for you in the future. Unless you say you cannot do them, they grant you those jobs for all future quarters.
I am hoping the guys who do the rest of my area are gonna drop theirs so I can do more LOL.
As per the MS I do not know, I alsmost completely dropped MSing. I just do quick ones like FF, USPS and some grocer stores. I do not go where I need to interact long time with employees.

Used to have oil change shops here that were worthwhile, but haven't seen them in a couple of years.

Currently, I'm enjoying their audits. All foreign to me initially, but their phone training was helpful. I've done several, and now know a wheel balancer and rim clamp machine when I see one! It's actually sort of fun - the guys in the garage remember me, and after I've done my dog and pony show, we yuk it up a bit as I'm leaving. I've got it down to about 30-40 minutes in the shop, and about 30 in report. Takes a while to upload the pictures.

My opinion is that it should pay about $10 more. But, if enough of us continue to do them for the going rate . . .

It's neat to have them placed in your queue for the next quarter. There's a generous window for completion, or if you don't want them, you pass. I imagine that if you pass, they won't automatically show up in your queue for the next quarter.

Never a problem with payment according to terms.

The simple audit has more than adequate fee in my opinion. I would change the total care audit fee. It goes from 4 mandatory picture to close to 20, plus measuring and checking more things in the service area for only $2 more.
I give you a tip. Before going in, drive or walk with the camera ready in front of the service area. You will find most of the times they are not wearing the safety glasses and the cars have no covers. I have noticed that they are very friendly when you arrive because they give the time to the service area to get everything ready for you. They are basically stalling you.

They've been good to me with audits being offered for renewal every quarter before offering them to other shoppers. The more often you do them, the easier they become. If the same manager is there, it goes quickly with no interruptions.
I have to admit that when I did these audits the first time, when I was in the car I was praying that they would be nice to me.

Of all 20 I did, I can't complain about one single person I cam in contact with. I have my own mechanic who is my neighbor, but if I had to choose a national chain to work on my car - I would use any of these places in a heartbeat.

That is the problem for new shoppers. If someone has been doing them they keep them. I know there is tons in my area, but I get to do only 8-10.

I love this company because of some of the same reasons that people gave above. I just "happened" upon these people. I take time periodically applying to companies and I received information about doing these audits. I thought that it was interesting because it used to be with another popular MSC. I can tell you this, they are paying more than the other company. I'd do the ones out of town if I could, but I work a 9-5.

All you razors out there probably already know this, but here's a trick if you're doing the same audit I am. After you answer all the questions, save the report. When you resume, without posting any pictures go to the bottom of the report and hit "submit". Most of the pictures you need to post will come up in red bars. The "second" shots under main shots won't go red, so watch for them. This makes it a lot easier to find the picture slots.

charyuop, I haven't seen the "simple" shops. I only see the TCS audits. Maybe I was late to the party.

Neat, MDavisnowell!

After a few of these, I shortened my time in report. Before starting the report, I resize and save all photos, in a dated/named folder. On the back of my signed Authorization, for each required photo, I identify photos by name and number, Exterior 1914, Showroom 1916, etc. Don't rename them, or they will then be out of sequence. If a photo has already been used in the report, it can't be used again - unless it's copied, and named with a different number. Referring to my 'index', plugging in the photos and completing the report takes much less time.

A reminder, for Prophet reports, don't use the Save feature AFTER you've uploaded the required attachments. Uploads don't save, and you'll have to repeat your efforts.
Mert, I number my pictures, too. I have a sequence I use for the numbers that matches the way I need to upload the pictures. One of my numbering tricks is to start all the numbers of pictures for one specific area with the same prefix, for example 13, and the pic in that series would be 13x1, 13x2, 13x3, and so forth in the order I need to upload them. On another specific area, I start all the pictures with 14. If I have the same item to photograph in Area 13 and Area 14, I would apply the number accordingly. For example, a garbage can in 13 would be 13x6 and a garbage can in 14 would be 14x6. This helps me learn the numbers so I can zip right through the numbering process. Simplify, simplify, simplify.

Every little trick helps. When I first starting reporting those audits, I thought my brain was going to blow. Circle of Service told me I would get faster, but that didn't happen until I really thought about the process and what I could so it make sense to me. I made up my own shop sheet and now I'm zipping through those reports, but it took me a while to get there.

I edited this post to take out information that may have bordered on IC prohibited disclosure. I'm hopeful this will still be helpful.

Has anyone done the other part of the tire audits yet, the part they added this quarter? Just wondering how much extra time it takes.
Pam - not yet, starting this week. As I've done all the locations before they are pretty easy. The only thing that is concerning me is that I have to tell them to close all the bay doors to do a few shots and I don't know how well that is going to go over. I think though that like the audits, the more you do, the faster and easier it will go. I've got these things down to a science now!
I've got two tomorrow and two on Thursday all of which I've done the last two quarters. I'm with Suzieboz about the closed doors. It's still very warm here in Florida and these locations are always pretty busy. We'll see how it goes.
There is one location I go to that the manager ALWAYS tries to stall me. I know he's going to be doing it with these doors as I've driven by there not on duty and they are cracked and broken on top when closed. I'll admit it - I'm going to go to the one that the nicest manager is at first as my "guinea pig"! (And by nice, I mean a gentleman, doesn't pull any "crap" and is respectful of the job I"m there to do).
