Franchise Compliance

Anyone have experience with this MSC? I completed an in-home shop for them over three months ago. I paid for the service with my credit card. The shop compensation is reimbursement up to a maximum dollar amount. I have not been reimbursed. There is no phone number listed on its website and no one responds to my emails anymore.

I can't believe that so many people are having issues with payment from Franchise Compliance Inc. It is disgusting to see how they are conducting themselves. I too have not received reimbursement from them for services rendered.I have been trying to find a way to contact them and run into problems. I did get an email from a man who called himself Ralph Silvestri and said that he was an account executive. He said that he would foward my email to the accounting dep't. That was one month ago. I guess that was a lie as well. Has anyone taken this company to small claims court? They must be stopped from this practice.Maybe together we can figure out what to do next.
if you paid with your credit card, file a chargeback and you should win the dispute with little resistance.

I've never done a shop for them, what is the amount it cost to do the shops?

I'm going to see if I know anyone over in Utah that can talk to the attorney general's office this week see if they can get the ball rolling.

Agree it is worth a try. I think there is a statute of limitations re credit card charges. No?

I believe the majority of CC's have a 60-90 day chargeback rule.

However, for anyone in this predicament, please contact the number on the back of your CC, explain what happened and ask to file a claim.

You will probably get something in snail mail you need to fill out; and at that point, I would include ALL of my emails and the assignment information (print out from the sassie website if you can) when you submit your report.

The only problem I would foresee is that the chargeback would go against the company who performed the work and NOT against Franchise Compliance.

I think the company that performs the work and franchise compliance are one in the same no matter what they say.

Thanks Tech,

I thought I remembered someone posting this, but wasn't 100% sure. Figured it was best to put that little disclaimer in there before assuming - JUST in case some company representative comes back and makes a fuss.

If they are one in the same - then it should be an open & shut case with a chargeback; but those who attempt it, really need to do so immediately with their CC company before the "# of days to file a claim" has passed.

In this case, the company that performs the work is a franchisee of the client, so a chargeback will definitely be affecting the bottom line of someone pretty far removed from FC (I'm not debating the idea FC and their client have some sort of improper business relationship), but I imagine it may cause enough outrage to make the client take further action.
