Market force.............does this happen a lot? Update!!

So, I got a call last month asking me to do a shop that normally pays 7.00. They said they would pay 15.00 if I had to put the stuff out, 12.00 if the stuff had been put out by the client. (I just had to take pics) I agreed, and the stuff was already out, so I figured on 12. I just checked my account. they are paying me 7. I did not get an email stating new amount, so I have no proof of the 12. I can eat the 5.00 on this one, but there are some I just did that were bonused 60.00 or more! Does this usually happen with purple? I have noticed it doesn't happen much with blue (mainly because they always put the new amount on the CPI.) Any ideas? Do they get nasty when you try to correct the amount? Thanks.

update

So I sent them a friendly email asking if there was any way to verify the amount I would be getting for the ones I have done more recently. I got an answer on the message board telling me to call the 800 number. I didn't hold out much hope. About an hour later I receive an email confirming the amounts for the much bigger bonuses!! Thanks MF!

Someone else will have to answer for MF Purple - I shop Blue but not Purple - but I will tell you never trust a verbal with a scheduler unless you know the scheduler very well. Always tell them to send you a confirming e-mail and once you receive it you will perform the job. If you don't receive it, send them an e-mail to give them another chance to send the confirmation; if you don't get a written confirmation, cancel. Ask me how I know this! No, guess how....more than one company. It's too easy to not get the bonused amount and have nothing to document what the scheduler said.....
Did you ask for a confirmation email of the increased fee? saying in your
email,

if you are sending me a confirming email of the increas fee to $12 I will do the shop. If you dont send the confirmation email naming the increased fee due me, , do not assign the shop to me."

simple.

Yes, it happens often with that company.

Fortunately you are only out $5.

Some people have been promised much more and never receive it.

You have to consider if you want to continue working for a company that does
not keep its payment agreements.
I always ask them to confirm the special rate by email before I would update my current assignment as accepted. Then in the report comment, I note that it is a bonus shop and quote the price.

I find the trailet checks to be the easiest if I were going to the movies anyway and don't have the time to be preparing for a complicated assignment. During the long gap in the showtimes, I buy a ticket and see the movie I want. And if it is a First Show assignment, I can even phone in the results and I am done with the shop.

I also schedule some other shops around the movie house area and complete them in between showtimes. It requires organization and of course having various MSCs on your list. And of course, CFA's cooperation in not making any changes or cancelling the assignments. Only in a couple of cases where the cancellation affected my scheduling badly. This is where your ability to self-assign plays an important part.
I am confuesd by this colors. Mine just says MF, with no colors. However, when I get a job on the phone they get my job ready online. I have available to print my CPI (which I always print for future reference) and the CPI has the amount on it. If the amount is not correct I email them BEFORE doing the job.

I just thought of it...I do not have the phonenumber of the MF I work for, they just use emails. No number available on their site either.

Shopper and auditor since March 2012.
Cover all center/north Oklahoma and south Kansas.
@charyuop. If you go on their main site, you will see the color. Blue portal does mostly mystery shopping and purple portal (formerly Certified) does merchandising.
