RSG Shops

Does anyone remember what proof we can get (aside from a receipt) for these New RSG Electronic Retail shops? I heard brochures or pictures from the outside are ok? I did one so far and had to get a .99 candy, which they don't reimburse, because there was nothing else.

It says right in the directions somewhere but yes a picture of the store from the outside or a business card, a flyer from in the store, a brochure of the product...all of those will work...or they did when I did the shops a month or so ago.

Yes Liz, you are correct. You certainly have many options of proof, no purchase is required.
Does the picture have to be timestamped? I use my iPhone as a camera that's why I ask
The last time I did these shops, the photo did not need to be time-stamped. But RSG is having some difficulties with some of the reports they have gotten. They may well have changed the requirements. I encourage you to go back to the company's guidelines provided for the shop you were assigned and read to be sure you understand the requirements. They may be different from the last time any of us did this shop.
I just did one today and also needed to make a purchase in the same big box discount store. I figured they'd be happiest with that since it shows the date, time and address on the receipt.

The Proof of Visit requirements are on the 1st page of guidelines in the 3rd paragraph from the bottom and include: business card, store flyer, catalog, ad set, information/marketing slick, or a digital picture of the exterior of the store.
I asked and was told get the building address in the pic so they can tell correct location or a pic with strip center and can show business on either side.

I needed timestamps for another MSC as I, too, use my iPhone as a camera. I downloaded an app called TimeStampCamera and it works perfectly. I've had no issues or glitches with it at all. It was free, too!
I did one of these at night and you could see the store name, etc. but it was dark and they still accepted my report.
RSG is easy as far as proof is concerned. A photo of the store or any brochure you find in the store will suffice. No need to purchase anything. Their shops are easy, they pay quickly, and they're really great to work for.

They are now requesting time stamp, or purchase, or card - not just flyer or photo of outside because some lazy shoppers used old photos or magazine photos - so everyone has to suffer now.
@JustJohn - thanks for info on timestampcamera app. I'm d/l'ing it down. You can also add time stamp onto the pictures from Picasa.
