Auto assign penalty

So Hubby does an assignment that took him about 2.5 hours, and had very little clear instructions. Today........just a couple of days after THAT fiasco, He gets a message saying that he was being assigned a similar project because he successfully completed the other one!! This one has NO information to even look at. No talk of if this one will be bonused like the last one, the last one said 1-3 hours, this one says 1-6 hours!! Paperwork not available yet...... what kills me is the nice little message you get when you try to cancel something you never asked for to begin with....."This will go on your cancellation record"! That would be two for him this month! If they would have the decency to call AND ASK first, this would be a non issue!!

whew. Thanks, I feel better now.

Hmm, I'd contact whomever decided to schedule him for this shop and tell them that you are uncomfortable taking a shop without any directive, that it would be irresponsible for you, as a shopper, to commit to something without knowing all the parameters and requirements. Additionally, I would let them know that time commitment is a definite factor (as it would be for _any_ shopper) and tell them that without consideration, you would be unable to accept.

Really, I don't know how included you'd be to accept, anyway. Any company that's going to be so inconsiderate as to schedule you for a shop that's obviously time-consuming (and that they are obviously finding it hard to schedule) without your consent doesn't seem to be a someone to align oneself with. Perhaps it's just me! =)

I hope you find a good solution to this situation, or the MSC at least makes it worth your while.

Sending the best,

Jen
In my humble opinion, it should be the actual shopper i.e. him or herself to post the complaint/info.
Why cynb?

People come on here and talk about shops their SO did all the time. He doesn't even have an account here (what's the point when he is usually reading over my shoulder) smiling smiley

If I told him he had to make an account, (one more log in to remember), then the info might not get out! Besides the fact that his view is, "I'll just cancel it, who cares?". I'm the one who is upset about the penalty and possibility of a flake rep.

I don't think I would be too upset if I was penalized by a company who assigns me shops that I did not apply for in the first place! Good riddance!!
