Was happy when I signed on and immediately got a cell phone shop. However once again no entire guidelines. After I confirmed: got the long long intensive guidelines which include, but not limited to checking to see what models of a particular phone are in stock. Does that not telegraph MS or obsessive nut case? $10 pay> Anyone done one. Only reason am am considering is that I will be doing another shop at that mall. Yes, it is a kiosk and not like you can lurk around anonymously. Thanks,

I've had something similar and as long as it is just one phone you can do it. The one I had to check had three "models." I just told the associate I was not going to be able to decide between the three until checking on something. I asked if they were all available or if I was going to have to wait for a special order on any of them.

OK COOL, do you mean that you asked the associate what models were available rather than trying to eyeball it?

To make it simple, mine was for an iPhone and the options are 16G, 32G and 64G. I said I would be making up my mind within a few days and asked if all models were in stock and available. Otherwise it was fairly typical and started with allowing them to recommend a smart phone and steering them to the target phone if it was not mentioned. I did not have to actually see the phones, it was a matter of taking their word for it.

different MSC check 20 phones plus everythig in store, take pics, don't think it's the same one - low pay, fool me once, duh.......................

I did this one as well, more than once, actually. Unless the guidelines have changed, it's actually a pretty simple and fast shop.

Thank, nicely. How did you deal with the look for models that are out of stock. Not that Lisa's idea was not fine, just looking for more info.

I honestly don't remember, but I'm pretty sure it was obvious that only 2 were in stock. You can always ask for them to explain the difference between the phones, which wouldn't be unusual if you're trying to make a decision. And if you're portraying yourself as ready to make the purchase, they might volunteer that info on the spot -- if not, you can ask. I do remember it was a pretty fluent shop, so I really wouldn't worry about getting the information unnaturally.
