Intouch/Insight

I did a shop for Intouch/Insight (scheduled via Kern) on 8/14/12. The instructions were straightforward, Kern was very helpful when I had questions, and the report was reasonable. Received payment via Direct Deposit today, 8/31, only 2 weeks after completing the shop!

Yes, they pay twice a month and quickly but Be extra careful when scheduling shops in their system during the weekend for a Monday shop. I received notification from Intouch/Insight that I was scheduled to do a shop. Next, I recevied a reminder very early on the day of the shop. Apparently mid-morning the scheduler cancelled the shop and tried to notify me by email. Not knowing it was cancelled, I did this shop on my way home from work and drove "off the beaten path" to get it done. I did not find out it was cancelled until I got home and checked my email that evening. They took the assignment out of the system and there was no report for me to complete. I emailed my receipts to the scheduler and expressed my disappointment but never received a response back. Be careful with this company...
I agree with longPAdriver. The schedulers at this company can be nasty. They show total disregard for their shoppers and believe that they never make mistakes themselves.

longPAdriver: if a shop was cancelled while you were out doing it, as long as you have proof you did do it (receipt/business card/Authorization Letter) In-Touch will honour your payment. You just have to let them know you did it.

I agree with you however if you know how to deal with them they can be very helpful as well.

I agree with you as well in some situations. If they want you to do them a favour they can be nice but if you don't want to drive an hour or two out of your way for a shop that no one else will fill, their personalities can change very quickly. They expect perfection yet their emails from schedulers (or managers as they call themselves) are poorly written and full of spelling and grammatical errors.
