I recently completed two assignments for CFA but my assignment history shows zero shops completed. I know they recently changed their website format but how are they keeping track of the shops they owe me for? This worries me a little..

I was told they are aware of the problem and hope to have it restored soon. Meanwhile, I will be contacting them if I'm not paid on time.

I just started MS a month ago. I have done approx. 10 shops for MF in August, had one reject from last week and haven't been paid for a thing. In fact since August 10th, I have performed over 25 shops and have been paid for THREE!!! My husband doesn't think this is a viable source of extra income. But, you know, its been damn fun!!! (for the most part)! Do you guys all agree or disagree that mystery shopping is a worth while second job- or even a first job- and how/when do better paying jobs become available?

If I have done 25 shops and have been paid for three, it would not be worthwhile for me, even for fun. I would definitely check why I am not paid for all of it.

However, this is mystery shopping and we are independent contractors. Some of the companies, and it is just August, are slow payers. Purple portal pays twice a month and their August check was supposedly August 10th. Still early and you are indeed doing well if you have received three payments already for doing August shops.

Yes, I agree it ia worthwhile not only as a second job but even as a full-time business, as attested to by many in the Forum. And there are better paying shops, if you look around and are committed enough. JMHO. Sign up with as many companies and you will find them. Good luck!

Depending on the companies, it is reasonable to have only been paid for 3 out of 25 by the 17th of the following month. Many pay closer to the end of the month. The bigger concern would be if the poster is not tracking jobs and payments.
