Hello and welcome.

You may want to check out the official list of mystery shopping companies on the bottom of every page here.
Hi Erica,

Welcome to the forum (and Mystery Shopping)!

I agree with Busy. There are a lot of great companies if you check out the link at the lower right(ish) hand corner that says "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies". The one other thing I'd say is to sign up with as many companies as you feel comfortable-- with the motto being "the more, the better". Even if a company isn't currently shopping your region, sign up anyway. These things change as often as your socks!

Also, since you are new here, you might want to try searching out answers to your questions using the search feature (located in the upper right-hand corner). Searching and reading will give you an unparalleled education on MSing and will also save other shoppers from answering duplicated (quite often) questions. =)

Sending the best,

Jen
I would definitely go to the "Official List" down at the bottom, then look at the top 10 being discussed. They are top 10 for a reason....some good, some not. When you see them, research them here. This forum is great for advice, but don't take everything too much to heart. Everyone has bad days and is quick to point out the bad. There are good stories too, an MSC might be a pain in the butt and cut shoppers without notice, but on the other hand they pay in full, on time each month and their reports/jobs are pretty simple. You will have to weed that out for yourself.

Like was said above, sign up with lots. I have signed up with 25. Not many compared to others here. Of those 25 I truly work with 3-4 of those a month and they keep very busy for as much as I want to make...about $800 a month. I use the others as fillers if a route is coming up short on money, I go to them to add more $$.

Good luck...enjoy reading...make some friends...be safe.

I started with Bestmark as well. They have always been good to me. Do you like food shops? There are several companies that will give reimbursement for food and some pay a fee on top of the reinbusrment.

I would love to do food shops! Do you know who does them?
There are a lot of companies doing food shops. If you start signing up with the companies on forum's Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies, you will find plenty of food shops.
Well I remember when I first started I did several companies that I no longer would now work for. The best shops I find is the companies that do cell phone shops. You do not need to buy anything and the writups are rather easy. Going to car dealers are rather easy as well. Food shops are great if all you want is a meal and never get any money to put in your gas tank.

One keep a list of who the company is what is your password etc. and when they pay and how through check, pay pal ,or what. It can get rather confusing at times. One company did not pay me until months later. Keep track because they do not do well on follow up. It is your money if you do not track it no one will. You also might like to keep a calender if you plan to do a lot of shops so you know you have met your deadlines. I summited a report and some how they never got it. I was able to tell them when I sent it and they accepted it was a computer glitch and I did not get a fee deducted. K
Thank you so much. That was a lot of help. I am making my list now. Nice was to stay organized
