The MSP has been previously mentionedas as the new company. They have a 17 question test you have to take before you can becoma a shopper. Took me 4 times to get all 17 correct. They will not accept anything less than 100%. The new site that has the jobs is cybershoppersonline.com
I found this MSP's payment lower than Bare was paying. The guidelines for a produce/meat/floral are 11 pages long. I don't know how long the report is, but it's not worth what they are willing to pay. They even want us to check out the bathroom, for cleanleness and check if their is ample stock!

What I did! I declined all the shops shown on the pages, and sent a note to the MSP and selected the link "Harris Teeter question", telling them what I got paid by Bare. They have since changed the payment to $11.00!

I suggest anyone that gets signed up with this MSP, decline all the shops and force them to increase their payment. Send a comment to Harris Teeter via the MSP main page under Contact Information than select Harris Teeter Shop Question. Tell them that they are not paying enough for their shops. If enough of us decline the shops they will be forced to increase payment. I think they should be paying at least $14.00 for all that they want in their guidelines and reports. If you can, decline all shops this month than see what they do, to get their shops completed.

I just did a shop at Costco. Took me about 8 minutes, and 20 minutes fore the report. Pays $12.00.

You just broke your contract, Dogbreeder. Please remove the name of the MSP from your email. No-no.
You are not allowed to mention the client name in the same thread as the MSP that shops it. Since the title of this thread is the client name, get rid of the name of the company that shops it. Similarly, your post perhaps has more detail about the shop than is wise to disclose, so frankly I would just change it to something along the lines of "I find the fee for this shop to be outrageously low and so have declined all of them and told the company why. Perhaps if others did the same they would be raised to a fair price."
Regarding the new msp for HT shops, the quizzes are initially challenging. However, after you take the first one - the others are a piece of cake. Also, if you do get stuck and can't pass the test, email the scheduler and correct answers will be provided. Don't you wish it had been like that in school? As for the fee, the main survey pays the fee PLUS $13 in grocery reimbursement! Very cool. The audits, Bakery/Deli/Seafood or Produce/Meat/Floral don't reimburse as much, but then again, much less time and reporting are involved with audits. The survey has always been more time consuming. I also like being able to self-assign with the new msp, we were not able to before.
Very interesting. A friend on another forum indicated that the pay+reimbursement was now a total oof 50 cents higher than with the old company and the reimbursement was $1.
Produce/Meat/Floral audits pay $11 + $1 in reimbursement. Seafood/Deli/Bakery audits pay $11 + $1. Pharmacy pays $9 + $1. Main surveys pay $10 + $13 reimbursement.
I have to take back my comments about the Harris Teeter shops. I was confused by the main screen showing $10.00 for the shop, and you had to select the Accept button. This led me to believe the total shop payment was $10.00. I have since found out that they pay much better than the previous MSP, it seems. I am waiting for a call from one of the reps to get a better understanding of the whole process.
I am still not convinced that I will take on these shops. The main survey shop pays $10.00 with a $13.00 reimbursement. The big problem is the main survey requires going to the rest room to see if it is well stocked and clean. You have to check for odors also! There goes lunch!!!
Most grocery shops include the restroom. Of all the ones I've done, only one was unpleasant, and I walked out fast, improvising on the supply list. I've also had some impeccably clean restrooms at gas stations. Be adventurous!
HTs are normally upscale, and well-maintained, and our efforts are all about helping them stay that way!
Has anyone completed one of the "new" Harris Teeter shops? If so, how does the report/survey compare to the previous MSC?
Hey,
I'm having a hard time getting set up with this particular company...anyone have any tips?
As in registered with them or getting certified to do the shop? If I recall correctly, theirs was a 2 part sign up where you registered, they sent you an acknowledgment email with further specific instructions and then you went into the site again to go through their guidelines and such. Only on successful completion of the second part were you sent a login and password. If you didn't get an email back from them to send you to part 2, try again or contact them.

Once you are fully registered, you still may not see shops as they sprinkle a few every few days, send all shoppers in the area an email and it is mad dash time.

Once you snag a job you have to specify day and day part you will do it. Then you still have to review the instructions and certify for the job before you can go do it. Generally one pass at the certification for the specific job type lasts a month, so if you snag a couple during the month you don't have to recertify for each individual one. You will, however, have to recertify for the specific jobs in subsequent months, so it makes sense to keep a 'cheat sheet' of your answers as the tests are often repeated verbatim.
Hey,
Thanks for the response. I made it through the first part but never got a follow up email. When I try to re-register it says I'm already registered.
I have sent them several emails but have not had a response...maybe they don't want me...LOL
If your area is already saturated with shoppers they may not be looking for more in your area at the moment. On the other hand, it may possibly be that there was a typo in the email address you gave them? Or their email may have gone to your junk mail?

Their website 'Help' indicates:

"If you attempt to register but receive a message that you have already registered, please send us an email at ***********.com to find out how to complete your application. Please include your name, date of birth, and mark the subject line: Registration."

I assume you have done that with no success. Might try subject line "Registration - 2nd request"

They have listened to us about the confusion taking their quizzes in order to get a shop. I successfully passed the test this time. I guess I will have to make a cheat sheet in order to do more shops. Pretty stupid! Here is the information on their response to the quiz.

From their website!

Improved Quizzes For High-End Grocery Store Shops!
We listened to your feedback regarding the quizzes for our High-End Grocery Store Shop Program, and as a result, we have completely revised and updated all quizzes! We hope you will now find them to be clearer, more coherent, and easier to pass. Don't forget to check your Visits Available page and pick up some of these exciting new shops!
For the pp who asked how these shops compare to the previous company, they are nearly the exact same shop. I did a Main Survey yesterday and the only big differences were having to check the restroom (I shop with preschoolers, so that's a given anyway!) and having to time the response time at the Customer Service Desk. The form was very similar and took about the same amount of time as the other company.
Just completed my first two main surveys today. The reports are somewhat similar, a bit simpler, they want comments - not narrative. Five pages long, but mostly yes and no answers. I wasn't sure if I could save the report, sign-out, and complete it later, so I tried after entering the first page. It does save, thank goodness.

Does anyone know if we get to see our ratings for this company, or is no news, good news?
With their other shops I have never seen a rating or heard a comment, so I just assume no news is good news with this company.
Good news to pass along - This MSP paid today, via PayPal, for shops completed Oct 2-11. Yay.
Payment with this MSP and with the previous one that did these shops has never been an issue ::knock on wood that it stays that way::.
