Forever banned?

Before I give my question, let me tee this scenario up with a little background. When I first was looking into mystery shopping (and, unfortunately LONG before finding this treasure of a forum), I applied with GfK. I don't remember what the reason was since it has been so long ago, but I think I did not pass what I vaguely recall being a difficult test. I probably would not think so now, but being a newbie with no or only a couple of shops completed, I was anything but well versed in this stuff.
Now, fast forward several hundred shops later......I keep receiving shop offers DIRECTLY FROM THEM, however, I am deactivated in their system for not passing the test. How much time has to pass before this ban gets removed?

When I was brand spanking new I misunderstood the instructions a scheduler gave me from Maritz. Like you I'm now several hundred shops later but Maritz will still not schedule me shops.
If you really want to shop for GfK amie, I would just email a scheduler (whomever is sending the offers) and let them know that you are much more versed on shopping, that you are now "experienced" and that while they send you offers, you're not able to active due to failing a test when you first started. Ask if they'll allow you to re-test or if they'd just waive the requirement so you can prove yourself on a shop. =) I don't shop with them or I'd give you a contact to speak with.

Best of luck!

Jen
I would probably just blow them off....if they didn't want me I wouldn't want "them"....
@Amie068 You actually bring up a very good point with Gfk. I'm in the exact same boat as you are, with regard to being banned from applying with them due to not passing their test. I presented this question to one of their schedulers in person a few months ago at a conference, and she advised that since the company recently completed a new software update to either re-apply or email her directly. In this case, I would try to email her directly and ask if your profile settings can be reset to take the test again in order to qualify as a Gfk shopper. The scheduler's name is Donna Goodwin.
The exact same thing happened to me with Intellishop. I have tried to contact them by e-mail and by phone, but I have never received a response. I can still log in, but it states my account is deactivated and I have reached my limit (2 attempts) on the test. Anyone know someone I could contact there? Or am I forever banned?

Amie068 - I am not meaning to hijack your thread - this just seemed to be a good place for this question.
I got it worked out and have a shop with them next week! Any info on how their reports are?
