Advantage sales & marketing

I was wondering if anybody has done anything for Advantage and did you have any trouble getting paid. They called me late one friday afternoon and wanted to know if and how soon I could set a display, in my home town. I said I could do it monday mornig at nine , and they said that would be great. They called the store and set it up, then called me back to verify and we agreed on a price. I did the set-up as planned and got the stores ok when I was done.
I have now been three months trying to get paid. Everytime I get ahold of somebody at the company[always a different person] they are so sorry and they will take care of it. I have twice e-mailed my complete new employee package and then I hear nothing from them and can not get ahold of that person again.
I was just wondering if anybody else had any trouble with them or know anything about them

There's at least one other thread about them, click the link below your post. Many/most of the shoppers on this forum who have worked for them never will again but I don't remember all of the issues or if slow pay was one of them.

Advantage Sales and Marketing is a large and reputable company. You should be able to get paid more quickly if you can find out who your local contact (DM) would be. I think you will need their help on this.

I have worked regularly for this company since August of 2011, I do demo work. When I was hired last year, the whole process took less than a week; the hiring process now takes three weeks at best and usually more. I am not sure what changes were made at the home office but they did switch over some record keeping system pertaining to payroll in late spring. I was promoted not long after the 'improvements' and despite repeated attempts by my manager to enter my raise into the system, I still have yet to see it. I have a new District Manager that I know they will eventually get it right. I will receive retroactive pay, a co-worker did earlier this year.

Advantage Sales and Marketing offers direct deposit or payment by check. Once you are in their system, they pay like clock work.

I'm not sure what postings the previous poster is referring to regarding ASM, I couldn't find any negative postings.

Thanks for the link, I read the posts. It's more a 'Walmart frustration' than an ASM frustration. I have worked for more than one marketing company within a Walmart establishment and it has always been more difficult because of their unique corporate culture.
I am a former ASM employee who was never paid my final check and I also never received my pay increase for possessing a valid food handlers card. I resigned as I couldn't mix there schedule with my other job. There is a class action lawsuit currently going on with the allegations of employees not receiving proper or full pay as well as not being given proper breaks. I received a letter stating lawyers would be contacting employees and former employees. I are this was posted over a year ago so if you still haven't been paid google the law suit info and maybe speak to an attorney. Hope this helps
