MF/ Will I get paid since location closed?

I have had the same thing happen twice this month. Both shops were with MF and I am curious if I will get paid the entire shop fee or only a portion.

Both were financial/tax prep shops. One was HEAVILY bonused. I called the location to verify hours of operation and in both cases, the phone rang without anyone answering. (no answering machine, disconnected number, etc..) One of the locations still had a website with the address on the CPI (no indication of a move).

With both shops, I proceeded to the location. One location had closed and the other had moved.

Has anyone else had this happen? Did you get paid the full shop fee?

Luckily, not a lot of time or gas was wasted in the process. Both were within 5 miles of my house. I'm just hoping that I will get the full fee.

If the instructions stated you were to go to the location after calling and with no answer, you will be paid a partial fee. Most MSCs will still include the bonus, as they should.

You do realize the partial fee could be only a dollar or two. They are not known to be generous!

Yes, I do. That is why I posted. Just curious about other experiences. I received a partial fee once, but for a different circumstance (phone shop/place closed).

They are bad. Last time I was caught unaware, the closed fee was about $4. The only MSC who is worse about them is GFK. For an $11 shop the closed location fee was $3 and that was when gas was at $4 a gallon.

Not the responses I was hoping for. Well, at least I was not out much gas.

When I have had closed locations on several different shops, MF always pays $5.

I've had more than one of these happen, and was paid half of the fee. It's really bad when you accept a gift card reimbursement only shop and the place has NONE for sale. Learned my lesson.
