Good to know, thanks. Although I am signed up with them, it has been so long ago that I signed up that I don't remember their ICA and guidelines. In general with hospitality shops (restaurants, hotels etc.) you always report in 3rd person, but if they did not specify and did not offer sample shops with guidelines, the penalty does sound unjust. Certainly failure to independently notify you of the problem with suggestions for future shops is not helpful.

It is truly cumbersome. I did a number of jobs for Freeman with extensive narratives and having to talk about myself as if I was watching a movie was downright bizarre. Luckily most casual dining doesn't require that.

I have rarely had to do third person, but I have not done a hotel, only timeshare stay. That was first person; an occasionally fine dining has been third, but not many of those. And I have done lots of them. I guess it is different strokes depending on the company. I am signed up with regal, and have been for a while, but they either never have anything here, or don't offer what they do have to me.
