How To Guarantee To Receive E-mail Offers From Feedback Plus??

I noticed that I haven't received any offers from Feedback Plus since September, so I attempted to log into their site to make sure I was still a member. Well, after logging in, I found that they deactivated me because their e-mails to my yahoo e-mail account were supposedly bouncing back. I was able to reactivate myself quickly again without a problem. But, my question is how can I prevent this from happening again? Is there a certain "e-mail address" I should place in my contact address list? IF so, what is that specific e-mail that I should place in my e-mail contacts, to accept mail from Feedback Plus and the other companies that use Prophet? Supposedly their e-mail wasn't even going into my spam, it just wasn't making it into my yahoo e-mail account at all!

Many MSC's have had issues with Yahoo blocking their mail as spam. Get another email account and put it as the address for Feedback Plus.

Yes, I noted earlier today that A Closer Look is encouraging shoppers to contact Yahoo because mail is bouncing. From their website:

"Please contact Yahoo immediately and tell them that they are blocking your important emails from A Closer Look. After multiple attempts to resolve this issue, Yahoo notified ACL that emails from us are '...permanently deferred; Retrying will NOT succeed.' This means that neither shop assignment notifications from us, nor editor feedback emails from us, nor simple correspondence from our admin staff, will be delivered to you. Your contacting Yahoo seems to be the only means that we have of convincing them that our emails are legitimate (we've tried to explain to Yahoo that all of our shoppers provide their email addresses willingly - however, because we've been in business approaching 15 years, a dozen of which have been using emails, older Yahoo email addresses are being reused and the recipients of our emails are simply marking them as spam, rather than reading them and following our opt-out procedures). For those of you that use a Yahoo email address as your means of getting information from ACL, should our shoppers' efforts fail to convince Yahoo that our emails are legitimate, our only suggestion is that you change it to an alternate instead. That way, our notifications to you about shops when they come online will not be delayed for hours or even days or blocked permanently (letting another shopper pick it up before you). We are sorry about this situation, but our communications have proved fruitless when dealing with the email people at Yahoo. We are continuing our best efforts to resolve this situation."

Your best bet is probably to get a Gmail account at www.gmail.com It is free, encrypted, web accessible and offers more storage space than you will ever need. I use about 1% of my available space every year because I save every job related email except jobs solicitations that have no interest to me. (I.e. I have thousands of saved emails that can be searched readily by keywords.)

Although it is a PITA to change your contact email address, better to do it before you have signed up with hundreds of companies.
Does adding a contact not identify and allow them as an approved sender? I do know that ACL has had problems contacting me by email; but communicating with their "Contact Us" section also has not been without problem.

Having to change my email address is probably going to make me cuss and spit.
Generally what happens is an email host receives numerous complaints about 'spam' and rejects everything from that domain. It is why great care needs to be taken if you decide to put up a website. There are a number of places that offer "free" or low cost websites or forum sites but if other 'tenants' of that host are porn, fake drugs, pyramid selling schemes, replica products or purchased 'university' credentials, you will not be able to communicate to and from your site because the host's domain will be blocked. In the ACL case apparently either former shoppers have marked them as 'spam' or, as they suggest, email addresses are being reassigned and the new recipient finds the to be 'spam'. While you can specifically allow/entitle specific email providers to reach you, it is not always successful.

There is that fragile balance point that email providers face--letting through too much and letting through too little. They generally deal with that by sending through too much but directing things toward your junk mail box for easy disposal. It is pretty drastic to throw out a whole domain that is not a source of blatantly offensive stuff.
Ok, I understand what everyone has been telling me so far, but what specific e-mail address does Feedback Plus (Prophet system) use to notify mystery shoppers? I can most likely ADD their address to "my address book" on yahoo mail, which should acknowledge that I WANT to recieve their e-mails. I would appreciate if someone let's me know the exact e-mail address that Feedback Plus uses to contact you from. Thanks for all your help.
It is probably not going to work-yahoo is rejecting ALL emails from many msc's, no matter if you whitelist it in your address book, or not. I think you need to bite the bullet and get a new address for shopping.
