Has anyone seen (or been assigned) any of A Closer Look's higher-end hotel shops for June?

There's one where I live.

I don't ever see high end hotels. I do see lower end hotels.

Many are only shopped quarterly. They would, of course, try to have those all shopped before the month at the end of the quarter.

I thought there were none in CA for June but isn't sandyf in the L.A. area?

Yes I am in Los Angeles. There is only one on my board but for ACL not every one who shops for them sees everything. Depends on your ratings and how many and what types of shops you have done. This one is new for me, never saw it before this month. I don't know if it is a new job for them or if I am just finally allowed to do it.

Thanks, Sandy. I've done these since they began and have been told I have the highest rating and can see all shops.

Of course, you will also not see those for which you are out of rotation, I think. Some have a 12 month rotation, which is a real PITA.

Ugh. 12 months? I thought a 6-month rotation was bad.

Since this is ACL, shoppers should still see out-of-rotation shops.

It's up to the client, I'm sure. Most MSCs would love to have more of their shops done by fewer, and more reliable shoppers, after all.

They usually have the 3-star mid-range hotel or lower. However, when I was in another state last weekend, looking for a dinner shop, I saw a high end hotel. I never check outside of my state (except this one time), so I don't know if they always had it at that state, or it's a new client.

The hotel's really do vary month to month with A Closer Look and they have pockets where they have a couple. This month, I saw the one Sandyf was talking about (nice hotel too), but it was the first time I had seen it. I think a lot of theirs went quickly because its summer.
