I have never heard of them and don't find them on any of my resource lists. I do note that Service Evaluation Concepts has the following warning on their website: "WARNING: Be wary of companies using some form of SEC’s name, location or logo in a scam that lures mystery shoppers into paid training assignments involving the depositing of large checks made payable to the shopper into the shopper’s account in advance of completing the requested assignment. Personal financial loss could result."

In general, if this is a company that has contacted YOU rather than YOU initiating contact with them, chances are good it is a scam.
I have completed 10 or so jobs for them, although it has been about a year since my last one. The assignments were enjoyable and I was always paid/reimbursed within the stated time frame.
The website for A Step Above service evaluations, Inc. is defunct. (www.serviceevaluations.com)

Service Evaluation Concepts (www.serviceevaluation.com) seems to be a different company.
It's never too late to set the record straight!
