Good Southern California Company Recommendations?

Hi everyone!

I have been shopping for about a year, but am having a tough time finding good companies in my area.. I was wondering if anyone in the So Cal area could recommend any companies with current shops?
I have applications with about 50 companies, but it seems like they all shop Nor Cal or back east.
I have a MSPA certification and started going down their list, but it sure is a daunting and disappointing task to apply to so many only to be disappointed.
Thank you in advance far any help.

There is a list here and it can be accessed at the bottom of every page. Most of us have found registering with at least 100 companies and preferably even 150 or more to be the best way to find an assortment of shops.

Thanks, Lisa. I know about applying to a billion companies. I've been doing this for a little while already and not a stranger to the boards.

I was just curious if anyone had any insight. I am still applying and using the job board. I am not a slacker by any means. I just hate feeling like maybe I am missing out on something fun because I didn't apply to that one awesome company.
Thanks again for your input!
After all these years I still hear about new to me companies on the forum. To make registering easier, are you using any type of program or browser to fill in the blanks and do you have some writing samples saved in a Word document?

My Google Chrome does my auto fill and I actually enjoy doing my writing samples on the fly.
It keeps them fresh, and since I am always shopping, it is never too much of a mind bender.
And learning about new companies on the forum is why I asked the question, Lisa. winking smiley
