No score on Coyle shops

I recently submitted a hotel shop and two restaurant shops for Coyle. I was asked a few follow-up questions on the hotel, none on the restaurants. They now show up as 'completed' but no score. The box where there should be a score is blank.

This hasn't happened to me in the past. So should I be worried that they didn't give me a score? Is it good or bad? I didn't get a sense that there was anything out of the ordinary with my reports. I dread asking them but I suppose I should brace myself for bad news in case that's what it is.

It's not bad. If you are an established shopper with a history they often do not grade reports. About one in four of mine are not graded.
Hi Everyone,

You should receive a scorecard after completing all evaluations. Please do not be afraid to ask. It does not mean anything is wrong. If you still have not received them, please email support. We will make sure you receive them.

What do you do when you arrive at the restaurant or lounge and discovered it is a dive? This place had low ceilings and cheap old furniture. It looked like someone's basement. The small bar only serves 3 or types of beer, 2 white wines and 2 red wines, and nuts. The report was just as long, and the reviewer wanted every single little detail, worst than the reviewer for my $175 dinner ones. It really was not worth the time and money spent on gas. This reappeared at the end of the month because I suspect someone cancelled. What do you do when this happens? Would you complete the shop?
Were you already assigned it? I'm trying to understand if you already did the visit or deciding to apply for the shop...

Heck yeah, I would complete the shop. I've eaten in some dives in my life, all over the world in fact, and some of them have had pretty good food and friendly service. But that's just me personally. In the case of a shop, I would do it because I requested the assignment and told the MSC I would do it.

However, when I am assigned a restaurant, I check online for any information I can find on it, print out a menu and make a plan on how I'm going to fulfill the requirements of the shop long before evaluation day. So if it's a dive, I already know it way ahead of time.
Yes...Yelp is your friend if requesting places you haven't been to!

That said, I did my share of dive hotels/bars/restaurants to prove myself when I was starting out. These days I generally only request the better locations, but if I agree to it...I will follow it through.
I started with Coyle in December and not aware of their payment schedule. I definitely did not get paid for December shops yet.
I got paid for November on 12/24. I appreciate that it was earlier than it has been for much of the year.
That's good to know. Now I fall into the "established shopper" category? I just got 2 shops marked completed but no score. Has anyone got freebies from MSC's? If so, how much worth? I just did a shoe shop and got to keep the $140 pair of shoes. Incredible. That's a first for me. I used to shop for this high end handbag store, but always had to return the bags on another date. Two trips to the store for a measly $15. Well...I can get spoiled with this shop and keep trend. So far, that's the only shop, no repeaters. Love that MSC.
Actually that's not correct. If you don't see a grade, it's a glitch in the system. Every report has a grade and you can get it by emailing support.
