Lowes - What Were They Thinking?

I wonder if they realise what they have done.

In the old days at <old MSC>, Lowe'sshops were always specific dates that had to be chosen. Those started out at (was it $5??), but then they could bonus up to $30 a shop.

Now, I am seeing Lowes shops at $12 plus the $1 reimbursement. I guess that is a middle of the road pay.

But, the problem I'm seeing (and it appears it is reflected in the un-selected shops) is that one may only do the Lowes shops on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. That can be fairly difficult to plan a route around.

I wonder what the thinking was behind that?

Mod note: even though it was the old MSC, we'll just be a bit careful here.

That is probably the Lowe's busiest days. Saturday and Sunday are busy due to it being the weekend. Monday would be the busiest as the construction businesses would need to get their materials for the week possibly. I am just guessing here as who knows what Lowe's thinks but it sounds like it is their requirement.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
It effectively eliminates over 50% of the days that each location can be shopped. I was absolutely swamped with these during the last week of the last quarter. I would anticipate even greater desperation on the part of the MSC to get 'em done at the end of this quarter.
Those shops still get bonused. I picked one up at $60 last month.
I did my first one last month for $41 total. That is the number I am going with now, won't go for less. They call me about them several times a week. Once I figured out they weren't bonusing them I stopped answering my phone.
