A Closer Look Typical that the software fails to save work?

Preparing my report for a shop. Reviewing it, two sections are blank. Fortunately I wrote my narrative in Word. Is this typical? Did one restaurant shop last year and two phone shops. No problem until this time.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Had it happen a few times. One company I found I had to paste it into notepad and then paste it into the form as Word's encoding would trip a sensor or something behind the scenes and that text box would disappear upon saving.
I have had that happen maybe 5 percent of the time. I always type the narrative in Word and then cut and paste. Other reporting formats also have days when they "eat" narratives.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I would recommend not using Microsoft Word, OpenOffice/LibreOffice Writer, or even the stripped-down word processor that comes with Windows (WordPad?) for doing these narratives; use a standard text editor like Notepad or its equivalents. Microsoft Word in particular is downright terrible when it comes to the monkey business it does on copied text.
Just did A-Closer-Look. No problems with the software. Had questions about timing. Explained that I was the only customer in line. Had a great conversation with an editor. I think I am beginning to mature as a Mystery Shopper.
