I have gotten all of my merhcnadising jobs from NARMS, and the majority called me because I have my profile posted.

I have not taken any of their tests and don't intend to. No company has ever mentioned the testing. I view them a lot like the MSPA certifications (and please don't digress to talk about that here). They might be educational, especially for people new/unfamiliar with merchandising, but as far as required/recommended to get jobs, not necessary. Just my $0.02.
I have only visited the site on rare occasion. I know nothing about their testing, but their job listings are quite extensive.

Yes...I've gotten 2 of my part-time jobs off of NARMS...I too have never paid to take a test for this stuff.....once you get the hang of it...you can do it with ur eyes closed.
If you are looking for merchandising or demo jobs,NARMS is good. It really not necessary to pay.
I have applied with several companies on Narms and never had any response. I have been a member for over a year. Still check website weekly and reapply. I have a feeling that CFA isn't helping as I use them as a referral on my resume.
If you put a complete profile on NARMS, companies will contact you based on your area. I am called all the time. I do some of the demo/sales job. I do not like merchandising, but I have been called for that as well, even though it is not on my profile. I think it all depends on where you live.

I would take CFA off your profile and just list it as merchandising company.

I took their merchandising test a few years ago for 15.00.

I didn't log on for about a year, I went back, and my account had been deleted. I rejoined and told them I wanted too see my certification. Their response was sure, send another 15.00 take the test again and their it will be.
I was critical of this lack of customer service of their Facebook page and lo and behold my messages were deleted. I have about as much respect for them as I do for Volition
I've applied for four jobs I've seen on NARMS. I was contacted by only one of the companies.
