Intellishop Axe?

My average shopper rating with Intellishop right now is a 9 (nice, right!) but I also have 3 flakes. One of them totally my fault, the other a miscommunication between myself and the scheduler, and the third, well let's just say it was a lesson learned. My question is, does anyone know how many "flakes" you are allowed to receive during your tenure? And if they ever expire after a period of time? I tried reaching Intellishop and hadn't heard anything back yet. Just thought maybe someone here would know the answer to that.

Three flakes? Flakes are usually scored at 0 or 1, aren't they? I do not see how your average score can still be a 9. The math does not add up.
Here's how the math adds up:
0 for the flake that was OP's fault
1s for the two flakes where there were extenuating circumstances
16 shops scored at 10s
= Average of 8.52, which Intellishop would round up to a 9

Now, maybe OP doesn't get all 10s on his/her reports, and there are 20-25 reports graded with 9s and 10s. Still totally doable.

I think flake citations are there on your record forever, but as you do more and more shops, assuming you don't get any more flake citations, your average could get better because the 9s and 10s from completed shops would be averaged in and would bring up your overall average. Once you get any kind of citation, good or bad, it forms a permanent record of your performance.
Flakes are flakes and unless there were very reasonable and acceptable excuses, should really qualify one to be deactivated. Dependability and trustworthiness is compromised so I don't even know why a real flake would come in the picture in averaging a rating. IMHO, a flake citation should only be given to those who are real flakes, not to those who have very valid reasons not to complete the shops. That means they were not real flakes.
Wait. The OP contacted intellishop and have not received a reply??? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

@bgriffin, I love your sarcasm but I actually get quick email responses from my Intellishop scheduler. I have never had to contact an editor so maybe they are slower or ignore emails.
Yes. If you have a specific scheduler for a specific shop you will often get a response. The problem is when you're asking about a shop off the board and there is no scheduler email in the shop. Emailing another scheduler and asking them to forward it to the correct one does not work. Calling does not work. Using the contact us button on the website does not work.

I honestly have stopped even logging into their job board. If it wasn't for their occasional video shop they would become the first company I deactivated from.

Hi BGriffin,
Which are your favorite companies to work for that have great response times? Just curious.
I hadn't worked for them in years but I took a couple of the easy peasy pet food shops. That might have been a mistake despite getting 10s on both reports. Now I am being inundated with other job offers that sound like real tankers. Ugh!
LuxeShopper, I find most companies other than Intellishop are very responsive.

Right now Intellishop has a bunch of shops they are offering Hero Citations for completing. Complete 3 Hero Citations and they can neutralize the 3 Flake Citations. Both Hero and Flake Citations remain on your record forever.
