Avoid NSS Pizza Photo Shops

I just read this thread and now I'm worried. I completed a shop for them within the past month. Hopefully everything will work out okay, but I'm probably not going to shop them again just to be on the safe side.

No, if you didn't hear bad news right away, you are OK, Rose. I never do the photo pizza shops - I enjoy pizza so much more when I don't have to cut it and turn it upside down and photograph it and then eat it cold. But I like NSS. And you would hear from them pretty quick if there were a problem with your photo or report.
Have a friend check your area for the same shop posted after they deny yours. Here is betting you will not find it listed again. Guess the reason.... yup they use our denied report. Disclosure I do NOT do them but knew a manager. Same manager who told me shoppers addresses are marked as such.

Err...Sandy, I did two of these shops after the scheduler called me and told me about the bonus, and he said I had a "very good chance" of winning it, so don't get your hopes up!! (I'm in the midwest though, so it must be a really huge region!)

I don't think I will do more of these, because I really don't like the pizza and don't want to risk shelling out $18 of my own money for one that I don't make even a dollar off of. Also my family and coworkers are so completely tired of pizza by now that we can't even finish one! However, I had some problems with my pictures but it was my own fault (had switched the res on my camera) and they were very patient and worked with me while I resubmitted them not once but twice. So, while the pizza might suck, I don't have any problems at all with the MSC.
Wow, you mean they got back in touch with you and let you resubmit the pictures? They must have really needed them because I addressed the fact they they never asked for another picture when they found the first unacceptable. No reply to my email, just no pay. I thought the first time okay I will give them another chance just encase I messed up. The second time I compared my picture to the example. That time I was never notified, just no pay and no answer to my emails. I shop and my husband shops so I did check to see if the shop was back on the board and guess what. Well all I can say is CANADAMOMMY must be right because it was not back on the board. I was very upset with them because I could have gotten a better pizza cheaper than the one they required and eaten it HOT! I was also upset with myself because I let them do it to me twice! All I can say is they must have enough suckers lined up so that they get the shops completed. Once the shoppers catch on I guess they have new ones to replace the ones that drop off.
They called me and asked me if I used a different camera, because the company had said my pictures were too blurry. I sent them a second time and they called back and said again they didn't work, tried it a third time and they accepted it. They were very good to work with, because I really didn't want to shell out almost $20 for a job that I hadn't actively pursued.

I am pretty sure that they don't have many shoppers in this area, because I get called pretty regularly to do them, even when the rotation period is not yet up. That might be why they gave me a little more leeway.

I don't like the fact that the managers somehow know who the shoppers are and have our addresses tagged as such in their system...that alone makes me want to not do any more of these shops.

I hope you get the bonus...you put the work in for it. I have no idea how many people are competing for it but I would rather have less than $75 and know I am getting the cash before I would accept a shop. Too many problems with the pics and everything else about those shops, not to mention I prefer to just go across the street and buy a giant great tasting pizza at costco for half the price.
Oh I agree. Between this one and Pizza Ranch, I can hardly bear to look at pizza anymore, and prior to that I was very picky - no cheap pizzas, yuck! I'm going to ease up on those before I hate all pizza (it's grilling time now!). And, I have a feeling that my chances of winning aren't quite as good as I was led to believe :-)
Crystal Fonger is one hell of a nit-picker editor. I never had any issues before that person came into the "picture".LOL
I've done three pizza shops for them, and I haven't had a problem yet. I have found them relatively easy to work with.

You must be in an area where they need the reports due to a lack of shoppers. I hope this continues for you! Just don’t be surprised if one day you wake up and things change. I had done several shops for them and they had big bonuses. Then one day they rejected my report and the bonuses stopped. So the red flag told me they had an influx of shoppers in my area and just didn’t want to pay me the last bonus. I had not changed the way I was taking the pictures. So just be careful and the best of luck to you that things don’t change in your area.

I haven't had issues with them yet either. I've done plenty of pizza shops, before and after they changed the photo requirements. I find them so quick to do and I really like the pizza. So it's all good!
