Today I got a review for a shop I had done. It was a video shop with only yes/no questions and absolutely no area for comments. The only space in the entire report to type in was where you type the name of the video file you uploaded.
The review was 9/10 for some spelling and grammar issues.

Reminds me of a shop I did with a different MSC. I was dinged for typing Lowe's instead of Lowes (not Lowe's Home Improvement). The only place I typed Lowe's was when I named it on the receipt I uploaded.

aoka beat me here. I sent an inquiry last night about the comment and earlier received an email apologizing for the error and updating me with the actual reason for the 9 (which was indeed an error on my part).

I'm still ROTFLMFAO! I never got an explanation OR an apology for the BLANK e-mail I received from an editor at this MSC. I wrote back and asked how could I know what to fix when the e-mail was blank, then I received a second e-mail with an explanation. And my only EVER "6" because ":they had to contact me twice". The shopper gets points deducted because an editor goofed, or there was a glitch, not an error on the shopper's part?

I give you major props for responding and owning your mistake. It's nice to know this MSC has at least one "stand up kinda guy" working for them.
I'm starting to wonder what the editors' jobs are like after getting some semi-random feedback from a variety of editors from different MSCs. LOL I imagine them logging in online somewhere and racing through a ton of reports to get their money.
Confero has been the hardest on me and the shop was an employee that really did not do their job very well. It makes you want to embellish to get a better rating.
Oh no! I have my first Confero shop this weekend...I've already read a couple things about this particular shop but to also read something about the MSC...I hope I do okay!
Amathya, I am sure you will be fine. I had one employee that was literally looking out the window while they were talking to me. Luckily, most of the employees were really great. It makes such a difference. Lately, I have learned to ask certain questions. At first, when I shopped I thought we could not ask questions but each company is different and it does not hurt.
