GfK emergency question text contact

GOOD NEWS! Here's a company that is attempting to address the emergency contact needed when shoppers are in the middle of a shop. Received this e-mail today containing a 7-day-a-week contact for emergency questions:

"Greetings Shoppers & Auditors,

GfK is pleased to announce a brand new service being offered to our shoppers starting December 1, 2015:

Quick response is an in-field texting solution for our panelists. This service allows you to text us with those last minute questions or clarifications, while you’re in the field. The goal is to provide you with the fastest route to getting answers on the fly. Our new texting service is available 7 days a week from 9AM – 8PM EST. Save our number in your phone, and give it a try today!

Text us @ 701-409-0GFK

Important note: The purpose of this texting service is to provide shoppers with support while in the field. Please continue to utilize email and/or telephone communication for questions that do not require immediate assistance."

A step in the right direction!

Yes, but if they'd re-write their shop guidelines and instructions for clarity, they probably wouldn't need to have an emergency contact! LOL.

No, really, this is a good idea. But this MSC, in particular, could avoid many shopper questions and save time for everybody by eliminating its ambiguous and contradictory wording....

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Have you used it? All it did was tell me to call the help line. Useless.

No, I don't want a free meal. I do this because I want to make money.
