COYLE HOSPITALITY

good morning everyone! I am in Rome, Italy, and have been working in hotel industry for years. I am a Sales & Marketing Manager also involved in operations and I travel a lot for work. I signed up for Coyle and applied for some italian hotels just for a start. Support tells me that hotels are usually assigned to expert evaluators but:
1) I already am an evaluator (with good evaluations too!), I am just new to Coyle smiling smiley
2) How can you become an expert if you don't start?

So if someone from Coyle or evaluating for Coyle can help me to understand what is the best way to start?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!!

Hi, sciabby, welcome to the forum. It kind of seems like Coyle does not recognize experience with other companies, preferring to have their evaluators build a track record with them. You can do that by taking easier, restaurant shops.

Here are links to some recent threads about Coyle. You can probably find more if you use the search function.

Thank you! It seems fair. But being more concentrated abroad at the moment there are just hotels in Italy. I will keep looking. TKS!
I applied for a hotel, and didn't get a response. I send a email to them, and still no response.
Yeah I'm actually frustrated with Coyle because I apply to shops but never get them. I have done hotel and restaurant shops for Coyle before and continue to do shops for other mystery companies.

I did have an incident where the Coyle scheduler did not confirm a hotel stay with me and apparently assigned it to me anyway while I was on a plane to Europe for an unannounced business trip. I notified them as soon as I could when I had access to the Internet. Most mystery shopping companies I know do confirm for big jobs like hotel stays before assignments. I am a frequent traveler so I am able to report on different locales for companies.

Anyway, given my past history, do you think I should just forget about Coyle and delete my account?
I should also say that in one gig for Coyle I ended up having to pay for a prepaid card which was non-refundable. The location only took that form of payment. I was not happy about that since Coyle did not cover the cost of the prepaid card.
