LRA by Deloitte

Hey All;

Has anyone done any work for this company? I found them while looking for Sassie companies to load into JobSlinger a couple months ago... I've been checking on their board weekly and have seen nothing even when I expand it out to 900+ miles.

Just curious if they are still active or if this is just an inactive job board to remove from my list -- or a "they reach out to you" sort of thing.

They reach out when they need shoppers for their projects. Typically they use small groups of select shoppers for their programs.

They do not use a job board. Jangker is correct.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
And 90% of their work is done in house by full time employees or contracted out to other MSCs.

Yes, they do not work with independent contractors, but rather with employees. I can't even find where to apply with them.
They DO work with ICs. But with very small groups of ICs that do all of the shops for a given project. I did over 600 shops for them. They only replace a shopper on a project when she/he retires, moves away from the focus area or dies. In addition, they contract with a couple of MSCs to do a few other shops per year.

However, they also do far more shops that are for employees only. Those require folks with long experience in the catering, hotel or air service industries, for instance.

I sort of figured it would was something like that. I'm looking for more options for travel shops and remember hearing that they work with them. Right now I've been breaking in with Coyle; have done some for Secret Shopper and the occasional odd project for Goodwin and Mintel -- would really like to find an MSC who handles an airline... even if it's not very flexible or is random; I enjoy flying to places even for a day where I can go somewhere, explore a bit, maybe find dinner and come back. It can be quite cathartic -- but expensive. If I have to do a report to cover it, that'd be well worth it.

With what's been said above from previous posters however, I wonder what you have to do to get them to notice you... or do you just keep your account active and hope eventually that someone retires or dies for a reachout lol

What kinds of shops did you do for them?

I did a few hotel mystery shops for them a year or two ago and haven't heard much from them since. The exact same hotels they did in New York were snapped up by BBS and I think there's some relationship between the two companies.
LRS's founders sold the company to Deloitte almost 2 years ago. Yes, THAT Deloitte.

Very possible. They outsource most of their shops that aren't done by employees to other MSCs. For instance a lot of sports shops you see with other MSCs are their shops they have outsourced.
