Well, that's interesting. Thanks for the info!

It's a quick serve restaurant, so no tip is required. Here, a pizza is $8.75 and a drink is $2.25. So the tab would be $11 pretax and $12.27 after adding the 11.5% sales tax. It's not a huge overage, but reimbursements should at least cover the minimum required purchase.

Wow, and i thought i lived in a high tax state...11.5% ??? Anyone live in a state that tops that? or is this not in the US? I just went to Quebec where the tax was 15% at the grocer.

Looks like a "one-top" pizza, drink and dessert would run $11.93 in my city. I'd be happy to just self-assign for $8 rather than go multiple rounds of bargaining emails to get a bonus. I wonder if there will still be a different pay structure for "app" shops -- that never made any sense, since it adds about 3 seconds to the whole process.

MSF, your prices are actually identical to what is charged in my city. In that scenario I'm downgrading from the "build your own" to a "one-top" plus my state has a lower meal tax. (In reality I'd probably skip dessert and stick with the build your own, although I've still never had their s'mores).
