ICCDS and emails

Does anyone know how their job notification emails work? Do some shoppers get them before others?

Twice today I happened to be checking my email right when one came in. I replied seriously seconds after the time it says it was sent. Both times I was told it was already filled. I would start to think that they just didn't want me to have it, except one they went ahead and scheduled me the same location for next week's shop.

It seems odd that those shops would be filled so quickly when others that are offered on my homepage go days without someone taking them.

My guess is that some email servers process emails faster than others. While they may send information to some earlier, it may not be by shopper preference but rather area--search for everybody in zip code 12345 and send the email, then search for everybody in zip code 12346, etc. Another factor is that one company I know of posts their jobs usually right around midnight my time. The emails do not go out until the following morning. So when I am expecting certain work to show up, I visit the site before bedtime and cherry pick. The following morning's email will show as available the shops I accepted the previous night because their system doesn't recognize that the shops are gone already.
I have received several e-mails from the purple portal advising me of jobs available but though I replied in minutes I never got a single one.
The same thing has happened to me, many times, and I have a good relationship with my scheduler. The emails may be sent out in chunks, and it's also possible that others' servers are faster, both for incoming and outgoing emails.

Agreed.

ICCDS is a great company to work for, I can understand why the shops go quickly.

They have schedulers that get back to you quickly when you have a question. If you cannot get them on the phone they get back quickly on e-mail.
On occasion they have instructions that I think ICCDS puts there purposely to see if you are awake and are reading the guidelines. A good Mystery Shopper will read before they shop others will learn a valuable lesson.

One time they neglected to say the midnight shop could not be done as the store closed at midnight. Oops! They did not check the store hours before offering the shop. It was nearby, no harm done, they gave me a couple of bucks for the effort changed the instructions and reloaded the shop for the next day.
ShopNflop, I have no problems with ICCDS. I was just wondering if anyone knew if their emails went out to different shoppers at different times.
I get emails daily from ICCDS. Their shops get filled fast. If I am home and reply back quickly, I do get the shop.
Not all shops get assigned so quickly in my area. I don't know what types of shops ICCDS conducts in your area but over here it's mainly convenience store shops that are mostly available.
They are switching to Sassie in a couple days so emails are supposed to be done after that. We shall see.
Make sure that you sign up with the ICCDS sassie site. They are a fine co and I also get upset when I get back to any MSC right away and do not get the job. They get many many emails a day and try not to take it peraonally otherwise your head will explode.
Why do you say the e-mails will be done with the switch to Sassie. I get more redundant e-mails from Sassie sites than any other, LOL!

They are an awesome company with great clients to shop, so the shops go fast. I have also tried to sign up for a shop within minutes of receiving the e-mail iny to see it has been assigned. I am not surprised. The shop sites are great, the reports are reasonale, and they pay quickly.
Yes, it likely is a server issue as the time sent on the email to me is hours prior to when I actually receive it and the shop is usually filled by then.
Is Sassie one of the sites where if you're signed up for another MSC that they can just copy your information over to ICCDS?

I tried a couple of weeks ago to follow their link, but it didn't seem to work. I know I'm being vague here & I don't have time to go into the details to see specifically what when wrong. I'm just wondering if anyone else had trouble signing up with ICCDS on the new Sassie system.
I found they actually transferred over the information. We do have to go in and complete the extended profile, but all the basics are there.

Was just to the Sassie site and it is a little glitchy yet. You can still get on the regular site. But you should be able to sign on OK
You are signing on to sassie/iccds as a new shopper. The sketchy part was having the tip: must save every 30 min. thing and then throwing me off and same over again. But I have faith that this will be fixed in a day or 2. It's the w.e. They do not care that WE actually work on the w.e.s BUT in their defense they make everyone aware, no one will get back to you until Mon.
