They are a good company and good pay. I have found that their "worksheet" is very exact of what you are to shop and if you follow the guidelines, you won't have any problems. They have a delay payment system. If you complete a shop today, the payroll closes at the end of the month then they have a month for processing and you will get paid the following month. Shop today...payment is Nov
Have worked for them for two years and done perhaps 40 or 50 shops. In my area, they have many gas station shops I use for fillers on routes. The pay is reasonable for the work. Payments are slow, but on schedule. I recommend them.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I like Ritter. I really wish they had more shops in my area so I could work with them more. I would recommend giving them a shot.

Forgive my grammar and spelling on the boards. I am off duty.
I usually do 5 to 10 shops a month for them and have for several years. You can count on the payment on time every time.
For me they fit in the 'waste of time' category because the shops I see are underpaid for what they expect and by the time they start to bonus close to a fair price someone near me grabs them.
If you do a lot of their shops and they like your reports, you can negotiate for long routes with bonus pay. If that is you cup of tea, go for it.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
one of my favorite places... love their bonused shops and they have a few in the area that are fun too..

shopping north west PA and south west ny
I agree that Ritter is a good company. I do several shops a month and they do pay on time.
Right now Ritter Is doing 5 question phone shop and are paying $4.00 per shop. They are based out of Toledo, OH and they do pay on time.
I just read that starting in Jan 2011 that Ritter is going to start paying by Direct deposit.
Kudos to them. I for one welcome this.
That would certainly encourage me to work with them. The prospect of paying $15 to have a 'lost check' replaced on a $12 to $15 shop had no appeal at all.
They have nothing here but self storage places. I've done them all twice. lol That's enough until they get something new here.
EXCELLENT COMPANY....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

**** Action Stations, Launch All Vipers *******
I have done a few phone surveys and a couple of convience stores for them. They do pay promptly.
I just filled out their application, wrote a long sample of my work. They sent me jobs in my area that pay $6.01 and 7.01...is this the norm? Since my "runs" consist of 4 jobs in a day and I do the 15.00 + jobs, this seems so low.

Live consciously....

I just completed my first job for them. It was a storage shop that starts out paying $8.00. I have found that they will increase the fees if shops are not taken. The storage shop I did paid $16.00 and the form was very easy. No long narratives.
computer_man I did 10 of those storage shops at the end of January. 6 were at $16 and 4 were at $20 and I only had to ride three golf carts cause it was cold and snowing! lol Should get direct deposit in about 10 days for $176.00. Yipeeeeeee!!!!!
