I am owed money by them (as I posted in the June who owes you thread.) In the past, I had been paid on time, but not this time. I did a reimbursement shop that cost $125 in May, and the Sassie site shows I was paid on 9/15. I have not been paid. I wrote the scheduler, and she claimed she would look into it and get back to me. Two subsequent emails to her in the past 10 days have gone unanswered. It is unfortunate that they do not publish owner info, a working phone number, or even one single address (instead of many incorrect ones) for their firm. I am filing with the BBB, the Utah AG, and the small claims court in my state. I feel that they are playing me, and I don't think it will be easy to get the reimbursement owed to me.

I recall reading your earlier post, Athens. I have done a few shops for FC over the years, with no problems. Fat lot of good that does you, I realize. I agree it's "unfortunate" for an MSP not to have a published correct address or phone number. Good luck - keep us posted.
Did you run a WHOIS check on their domain? Unless they have opted to keep there information private, you may be able to get a phone number and address running a check on their domain name.

The number there last spring when I was looking is the same as the website one that is disconnected.

I think the 'lesson' here is that if/when you get an email for work you want, you email back the scheduler and ask for a phone number "In case I have any questions." Only accept the job once you have a phone number and preferably have called it to ask some dumb question or other. There is obviously some chaos afoot and with email as the only available contact I would exercise extreme caution.

Since the posting here, I have gotten 5 emails from Adam Valdez. They assert that he "needed to look into" what happened to my 9/15 check and include much in the way of nonsense to delay wrongdoing on his end, and also including threatening me with "actionable" legal action. Heyk Adam, check your own ICA...you are out of compliance to terms you set. I am now free to recoup my cash via every means possible.
Why is he threatening you with legal action? What could you have possibly done wrong?
