I have been a shopper for many years (like 5 years). I used to complete shops for the Red Robin and Starbucks. One company is out of business and the other says they are only working in Canada for Starbucks. Help! Anyone know either of these companies? Thanks in advance for your help.
The company that is 'out of business' was bought/taken over by Market Stat. They still have the Mexican restaurant but the burgers seem to be gone. Most of the coffee shops are gone. The client got into serious financial trouble due to overexpansion and heavy competition (also no longer being the 'new new thing' that everybody who was anybody had to have). My understanding is that there are some shops done in some markets but it is a more localized effect.
I just today was assigned a burger shop in the Dallas area. That appeared to be the only one they had though. Everything else was an after-security airport shop. Seems there's been a lot of those lately. :-/
PMW, I'm sure your intent was to assist. However, in doing so, you named both client and MSP in the same thread. That is a violation of the Independent Contractor Agreement you signed. The remedy is to edit your post and remove the MSP's name.
