A Question About CRI

Hello,

I just became a mystery shopper for Corporate Research Internationl. I was looking at the training video for [gas station]. They mentioned that they will reimburse you for items bought at the convenience stores up to $2.00. They require that you also buy gas. Do they reimburse for gas purchases? If so, how much?

1.00 in the store and 1.00 gas...:p

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
A couple of things. First change the client name to 'gas station' because you are naming the client and the company in the same thread. There is a little blue edit note in the lower right hand corner of your post to do that.

Second, it has been a long time since I did them but I believe they reimburse $1 in gas and up to $1 in the convenience store for a magnificent $2 total reimbursement max. When I have done these shops I have simply carried a gas can suitable for filling my lawnmower because it is silly beyond belief to pull in with a gas hog truck and buy $1 worth of gas. You could buy more, but why when the price is a nickel more per gallon (sometimes more) than nearby stations? (after all, they have to pay for those shops somehow)
They are so ridiculous paying a $3 fee for a shop that requires photos and narrative? It is no surprise that the only shops left available in my area are the gas station shops. A- You would not buy $1 of gas for sure, B-there is nothing you can buy for $1 in the store, so you are eating away at your $3 fee, and C- you have to spend time reporting.
Ha, I save money by staying at home.
the most shocking part is that many of these $3 gas shops from CRI get snapped up in a second, and if not, when they bump the fee to $4, they disappear!
