Ipsos Issues

I discovered Ipsos last year and had a mostly good experience with them. Their shops were not the under $10 variety and it allowed me to make some decent money quick and with little hassle. I'm on year 2 with them and I'm getting a tad tired of their 'process'. Quite frankly, getting an assignment from them can seem like 'work'. Perhaps someone can provide some tips or shed some light on a potential blind spot I'm having. When I apply to their shops, I usually have to follow it up with an email to the scheduler begging them to give me the shop. If its a good scheduler they get back to me and presto I got the shop. If its a bad one, I hear nothing and the application sits forever. THEY DON'T SEND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS WHEN I GET AN ASSIGNMENT. This is a major. Sometimes I forget that I applied and they give it to me weeks later and I have no idea. Their app, is useless, I've given up on it. C'mon ipsos, make this easier.

I hear you on the wait to get approved for a job. It's a battle that other forum members have talked about in threads; including myself. It would be nice to have "Self assign". I have never been a scheduler and do not know of the load they have (I can't imagine the emails they receive in a day) but, I am hoping they can get it figured out on how to approve jobs quicker to help us.

You might want to go under your profile and see if your emails are turned off. I receive notice through the app quicker than I do though email.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I am sorry you are having trouble, when emailing schedulers put the shop name and location in the email subject line along with Urgent and that may help to get a quicker response. Also please check your spam/junk folder settings to allow messages from notifications@ipsos-mysteryshopping.com, the system should be automatically sending you a notice when you are assigned to a shop. If you have any further issues please feel free to reach out to me at juliaus@ishopforipsos.com!

We are working on having more shops to allow self-assign, in the meantime putting the shop name and location in the email subject line along with Urgent may help the scheduler to respond quicker.

I agree, an email that you got the job helps one prepare. I get everything I apply for (which is nice), but no email, so I have to check the site to see if it's in my inbox.

Make your email subject something that she wants to open -- "Can pick up Manhattan, Staten Island, Bronx, and Queens tomorrow the 28th only -- need confirmation." I'm guessing they get literally a thousand emails every day.
