Satisfaction Services

Does anyone have any experience with this company? I just signed up but I don't see anything on the board at all about them other than some scheduling companies scheduling jobs for them.

I have worked with them. You rarely hear from them. All the jobs I have done for them have been scheduled by e-mail either by an independent scheduler or by their own scheduler. I don't do a lot for them. They have interesting jobs and are easy to work for. I have always been paid on time.
They don't have a job board. I have worked with their schedulers, who call me when they're trying to book shops. I have also worked with independent schedulers on their behalf, though infrequently. There's no grading system, on the shopper side. It's a no news is good news MSP. They are a good MSP to work with. Straight up requirements/reports and I've never had a payment problem.
I've done a few jobs for them but they've always contacted me. Their forms are relatively easy to fill out and they have interesting assignments
I have done shops for this company and receive emails for their shops once or twice a month. I need to make some time and take one of these again sometime! They always seem to be friendly and pay quickly. Their shops usually have a pretty decent reimbursement. As with most shops that have a good reimbursement, there is usually pretty good writing that is attached with it. But, it isn't that bad though from what I remember, ;-o
I've done a couple of shops for them. They do some high end restaurants. One is a family style Italian restaurant that is excellent. They also do a sports/social club restaurant down on Fourth Street Live in Louisville. There is no job board. You sign up with them and wait for an email. The Italian place reimburses $65 and requires at least three people to go. It's great food and ambience though. The name mean's "Joe's Basement" in Italian. lol

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
I just went to their website to check them out. They sure are pushing the "Pay $9.95 and become a rated evaluator" plan. They do offer free signup but they make sure and tell you that "rated evaluators" get picked first.
I agree. I've done two shops for SS, but have been offered more, specifically, repeats of both. Perhaps they have other shops I'm not being offered, but I'm not paying to find out!
I applied and the very next day-the had signed me up for a shop. I couldn't do it that day so I have my first job with them scheduled next week. I was rather surprised that they didn't contact me-they just signed me up for it. I'm not sure if that's how they work but they did give me the option to accept or decline.
How did you "apply"?

One of their schedulers that I've worked with has the same name as yousmiling smiley
I've worked a few jobs for them, all for the same client in my area, "high end" fast food.

It pays well for what it is, but you have to wait until they email or call you.

Not very efficient if you ask me, but they do pay promptly (by check) and then call again the next month.

I usually do the same shop once a month for them, at different locations. No complaints other then they call you to schedule.
Anybody paid or signed up with this com? I did, in return, I received an email saying welcome to MSing That was it.

The reason I say pay, b/c they claim to offer you better shops if you pay to be a member.

I received the origimal shop fron JobSlinger. They had a shop in ny area. They needed completed in 48 hours. $30 for 2 hour session at a local dayCare..

I would like to see what their "better" shops are.

Post the good, bad or indifferent.

I see others have posted similar quantries.
I've done two shops for the company, and the offers have come via email. One was what I would consider relatively better pay (along with a reimbursement), but it was pretty labor intensive. The other shop was easy -- low pay and reimbursement, but that particular one is often bonused (bringing the base pay up to a whopping $10).

I would shop for them again, but I'm not going to pay to see a job board. I get offers every month, but admittedly, only for the same two shops I've done before.
"We simply ask you pay a small fee of $9.99 to cover the administrative costs related to setup, review of your evaluations, assigning a rating and moving you into the pool of SSI rated evaluators."

Administrative costs? A shopper who chooses not to pay, gets their membership set up, and their evaluations reviewed and rated. The shopper becomes a rated evaulator, sans SSI-paid-for-rating. The shopper keeps their money and does not swim in the pool.

"We will always choose rated valuators first for available assignments. You can, however, choose not to pay the nominal fee. If you choose the free evaluator program, you will still have the possibility to receive assignments in your area, but not on a first choice basis."

Shops have rotations. If there's a shopper who paid to swim in the SSI pool, s/he still has to wait their turn. And, a shopper does not know, before paying, if there are available assignments. There is no job board, even for the SSI swimmers. In my area, I gather most shoppers don't swim. I am called and asked to take assignments, regardless of rotation.

"Rated evaluators will always be chosen first, as their quality rating will ensure our clients receive the best evaluators available."

Paying for a rating should never equate to a quality evaluator. It's a $9.99 pig in a poke. If I knew, in advance, the shops offered, and wanted them badly enough, I could make an informed choice to pay to swim. That's not the way they do business.
Does anyone know when this company will pay for jobs completed in March? I can't find anything on their site, but I thought it was the 25th of the following month...?

Payment is by check, the 25th of the following month. Allow a week for mailing. Also, the checks may not have Satisfaction Services name on them, depending on the client.
They were one of my first companies, lost touch...yes, the scheduler always called when there was a job in my area. Think I'll check them out again, wish they had a job board.

Live consciously....
