Exra! Extra! Harland Clarke quits MS!

Just got an email that one of my favorite companies is getting out of the MS business. Loved doing their bank shops! I am sure if these banks are picked up by a new client there is no way the fees will be what they were.

I called my favorite scheduler after I read the email. He said their last day is next week. Merry Christmas.

I will definitely miss their bonuses and mileage.

Oh, so none of the shop team is even staying with the company? That stinks, they were the best bunch of schedulers to work with!
I haven't heard of this company Customer Service Profiles, but I haven't signed up with any new companies in awhile. Some of my first shops were for Harland Clarke.
Over the years, two of the companies with whom I was contracted, departed the shopping business AND I spoke with an official concerning their decision. With each, they were an existing company that decided to expand into mystery shopping, but concluded the problems were not worth their effort. As to HC, the closest shop to me was a round trip of approx. 260 miles and they were never willing to pay both my mileage and time rates.
I googled CSP and spoke to their operator. She informed me that they do not have a sign up page for mystery shoppers. You have to be invited to join their team. So follow the directions that Harland sent to you. I will really miss working for Harland.

Has any one worked for CSP and do they conduct mystery shops in Texas?
I'm not sure WHICH CSP you googled and contacted, but if you click on this link, towards the bottom of the page, is a link to SIGN UP for the CSP that does the financial shops. Good luck!

That link is to log in, not sign up.

In Brooke's email, she provided a contact for the company.

I was not signed up with CSP, but I am now! I just used the link and signed up. It's the standard ClientSmart log in. Or, if no account, there's a link to register.
Got an email from them saying they are discontinuing mystery shopping. They had good, well-paying assignments in my area. Bummer.
Yes, I just signed up with them using the link provided. However, after being accepted, I got onto their job board. They only work about 5 states and Texas is not one of them.

What five states do they cover?
They don't have shops in my states, yet. However, they may get HC's clients, if those clients choose to continue their shopping program. I do see phone shops, some bonused.
sestra, how did your thread merge with turfman's thread? I'm curious.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Question: What is the source for saying that CSP was/is HC's "partner" ? I mean that as a simple quesyion. I am not trying to cast doubt on the statement.

Ah. Thank you. I had not shopped recently for HC, so did not get an email.

Honny, when you click on that link, underneath the box on the left where you log in, in wee-small letters in blue, you should see a link to register as a new shopper. At least it shows up for me.

And, it showed it for me. I was able to sign up. They want 3 references, but I was approved in about 10 seconds after finishing the application. So, they did not check before approving. BUT, those 3 are required to apply.

Log in and sign up are on the same page. Sign up is located just below login. But here is a direct link to the sign-in portion: [csp.clientsmart.com]

CSP is OK and pays quickly. They do mostly credit unions. There survey forms are a joke, too simple for any useful data to be collected, IMO.

Clientsmart only lists those states where the MSC currently has open shops. An MSC may generally often shops in many states but have none available in those states at any given moment. Many MSCs with national scope have completed there December shopping. If such an MSC used client start, the state pull down would yield no options.
It is end of month/year right now so jobs you see are leftovers that no one has picked up yet. Let's hope once they get the new clients set up we'll start to see more in January or February.
I hadn't realized I was signed up with CSP until I tried to register and they told me my email address was already in their system. I've never seen any indication they have jobs in my area.
