I always enjoyed working for BBS and was reminiscing about one of my favorite shops for one of their clients recently. On a lark I checked my email and haven't received any correspondence from them since they had to cancel a shop on me in March at the start of the pandemic. As a company specializing in travel I know they simply don't have any shops, but I wonder if they have been able to hang around or not.
I'm a bit ignorant about the overhead of a MSC but I imagine that while many have closed or merged during the pandemic, many others were small and lean enough to just... Temporarily close up shop and can reopen when things are safe.
