For shops I completed in August I was paid on 9/23. September shops should be paid soon.
Correct! Payment for September assignments was deposited into my Paypal account on Oct 23. : )

You might find this tip useful: Log onto CI site > click on My Profile (top right of screen) > click on Generate Invoice (lower right of screen). You can then view/print an invoice of your activity monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.
At the bottom of the invoice, the total amount for the specified time period is displayed.

Hey JSM, can you send a screenshot. I can not find the Generate Invoice button.

Thanks

Dan
I am always paid between the 20th and 26th of the month following the shop. Customer Impact is my favorite company by far for reasonable payments and easy reporting. The schedulers are quick to reply to issues too.
For you shoppers here, do you still see any assignments that aren't merchandising? I have done a lot of merchandising for them lately but a long time ago I used to see some pretty cool restaurants and stuff. Just wondering if that is all gone.
Hi All

Hope everyone is well, staying safe and getting ready for the holidays! Thanks to the posters who already posted with when they usually get paid as they are exactly right. The Customer Impact official pay period is the 15th-25th of the month following a month work was completed in. Most of the time it will be between the 22nd - 25th, depending on how the weekends fall, etc.

Direct deposit usually always gets paid 1-2 days earlier than PayPal due to PayPal delays processing the money on our end before it lets us send it to you.

Regarding mystery shops/restaurants, due to COVID and the suspension/pause of virtually all of that work in March 2020, Customer Impact was fortunate to have a robust retail services division that stayed mostly in business through the pandemic that we could apply our resources to.

Later in 2020 and 2021 some of our great mystery shop customers expressed interest in resuming but many never did. Others proposed alternative types of programs that weren't full resumptions of what you all knew prior.

During this time we made the decision to focus on what was in need of our services, which was retail merchandising. We had to make the tough decision to no longer provide mystery shop services to some of our customers due to the management of our internal resources. For the ones who did come back, we referred many of them to 2 great trusted partners in the mystery shopping industry and you may have seen some of our old customers on their job boards.

We still have some mystery shops available in select markets and we will continue to attempt to secure programs for mystery shopping customers if the opportunity makes sense for us to pursue, which we have done multiple times this year.

Most of our work in the short term will be to expand our retail service opportunities, either audits or light merchandising, with various special projects here and there. I know retail audits/merchandising work isn't for everyone and many shoppers enjoyed mystery shopping...and who wouldn't love a nice steak dinner for free?! I hope we can get some significant MS programs secured to bring more of those opportunities back to you.

For anyone who does want to complete audits or light merchandising assignments, become key reps in your area, or if you know any friends/family around the country who this type of work might appeal to, please always refer them to sign up with us as we have needs currently as far north as...well....North Pole, AK and as far south as the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine!

To everyone who currently is a CI Field Rep, thank you as always. It has been a crazy 18 months but I really think we're getting to the other end of this and 2022 will provide more opportunities than ever. We will continue to pursue opportunities of all types to our great reps. The world is changing and 'gig' work like this will only increase. Our goal is to have multiple types of avenues for you all to pursue in the coming years.

If anyone has any specific questions, you can always feel free to PM me right on this site or email me at dprice@customerimpactinfo.com. I have held a few multi-year conversations with some of you on here via the PM feature that have been quite fruitful. I will always find time to help/engage/explain/answer questions you may have.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, a great Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!

Tip of my hat to you sir. This was the most well thought out and insightful post I have read in a long time!
Just wanted to say something nice here. About CI and the way they run their business. I feel like I'm not very good at merchandising, but I've been doing it anyway because I must. I find the schedulers/project managers extremely responsive and just downright nice. The app actually works. The pay is fair and on time. I personally hold Mr. Price himself in the highest regard.

I do several merchandising jobs for CI, one quarterly and another randomly. I do miss their car washes and wish I could find them again.

I did that, nothing found. It might be in front of my face. But oh well. It won't let me post my screenshot (of nothing found) here.

I guess I will have to email one of my schedulers.

Thanks,

Dan
