BARE: Go Back to Using KSS Already to Schedule Your Car Wash Shops!

I have no idea why BARE went back to scheduling the shops (two different chains in my area) themselves but it doesn't seem to be working. Multiple shops are still on the board with a 12/31 deadline. I rarely check BARE's job board (because most of their shops pay too little). I would have done at least two of the bonused car wash shops that are still on the board if I had known they were there. I was just in those areas.

I get BARE emails about their car wash shops rarely, and some of them go to my spam folder. When KSS was scheduling the shops, communication was much better.

I am underwhelmed with BARE schedulers. They say their limits are set by the client, then cave to the amount I asked for days before. This happens the day before the shop is due. I don't trust them I guess.
It has been a while since I dealt with Tara Jacques. Never had an issue with her and I trusted her. I remember once asking her for a reasonable bonus and she just couldn't give it to me. I did the shop anyway because she had built up so much goodwill.

Can't say the same for all BARE schedulers.
I’ve been dealing with Katelyn Nieves, she replies back to me right away. It’s been raining here in the Sun City, Peoria areas and doing the car wash’s seems to be saying I’m mystery shopper. She has been good about switching days.
Sad to see the fee is low again. The shop requires a voice recording and comments every section with multiple choice. I will wait and see till they raise the fee again. It may not be December fee level since that was the end of the year, but $7 is too little.
They have 3 going, one is for recording, another for just the car wash and the third pays the most $15.00 to complain to the manager about anything in your car wash.
@Jrsygal59 Good to know. I haven't dealt much with Katelyn but don't recall anything negative.
@Luna126 I usually have multiple recording devices running during the shops, just in case something goes wrong with one device. The comments aren't bad but I wish BARE would correct the report form. I even pointed out some of the mistakes before. $7 is way too low.
There are only two in my area. I prefer the client that requires recording the shops but will do them only if they are bonused. The second client is a full-service car wash with much fewer locations. The two locations I have shopped are not in cities I usually shop and I have to pay a bridge toll. The fee is OK IF they do a good job but my car is never properly cleaned every time I do one of those shops. BARE does not reimburse for tips and I tip at full-service car washes. So, I will shop that client only if I am in the area anyway or if the shop is bonused.

I used to record all my shops when I first started out mystery shopping but no longer. Just keeping track and renaming was exhausting for me. I have other shops that require recording and they pay respectively more for that.

I now see the third shop that requires no recording and no building picture. Fee seems in line with what’s needed. Glad to have options for car washes!
