Is Ipsos ishop first still a thing?

I can't find anything on their websites about it at all. Am I looking in the wrong places? I have not seen that notice about it on new shop descriptions that were released in the last few months. Has anyone seen anything about it? Did it just die quietly?

I ask because there's one job on my list that I'd rather not do which would be semi-ok on ISF but a flake otherwise.

I think it just took over quietly, and became the de facto mode of operation for most projects. If there is no scheduler listed, it seems to function like ISF.

Ses, look at the "help contact" button and see who the email is going to if you don't have a scheduler mentioned in the description at the top of the shop. If it's going to the ignored email address it's ishopfirst.

Thank you guys. Now I'm wondering how new shoppers would even know about ISF, there isn't any reference to it on the websites. We only know because we had received emails about it in the past and there used to be a blurb about it on job postings but no more.

ISF. IShopFirst. It's their computerized self assign classification where no schedulers are involved. So it's just their trendy/innovative cutzy name for self-assign that is supposed to motivate shoppers to take shops as soon as they're posted at base rate. When it first came out they said that there would be no penalty for shops you claim and don't complete. I think they've changed that. That's why I was asking here to see if anyone else has current info on it. I can't find anything on their websites.

There was a thread about that probably a year ago? The explanation that we got from somebody at ipsos was that claim a lot of shops and then let them drop again to keep other people from getting them. And they claimed that those people would be penalized. But I have seen no evidence of that. It seems that somebody is claiming all of the shops that come out when they are first posted. On some shops I have to wait for the folks that I call Hoarders to let the shops drop. And now they're not putting bonuses on the shops that return to the board. I guess anything that gets folks to work for nothing...

It must be working well for IPSOS with the Pegasus shops in my neck of the woods since they are almost all taken within the first few days...bonuses are rare nowadays. I don't see many come back on the board either.

Nope.

No penalties for letting shops drop off your board.

I have reassigned dates and still not done the shops, and I blew off 14 cellphone shops on a loop after the 1st one proved to be a nightmare. No communications (other than the emails confirming the shops were cancelled) or negative repercussions.

I would like to comment on the no penalties...in most, if not all, of the guidelines there is a statement that excessive abandonment and reclaiming of shops could be a cause of deactivation from that program or your partnership. I would say as a rule if you take a shop with a bonus, or it is at the end of the period for that round - it is more likely that it will be noticed that you didn't complete the shop and it could start to be an issue. But yes, the general idea is that if you cannot do a shop for whatever reason, then it will just be removed and put back on the board. And for things like @CoolMusicMusic noted - they took a bunch but then they turned out not to be something they wanted to do - so poof they fell off.
