A Closer Look - when are shops due?

I have a restaurant shop tonight and I haven't shopped with ACL in a while. I'm sure I'm missing it but I don't see when the shop is due. Does anyone happen to know if they are due by midnight or do you have 24 hours?

I'm crossing my fingers for 24 hours. I think I'm over coming home, hopefully happy and full, and having to write a long report!

Thank you!

When you arrive home just send an email to the scheduler saying, "This shop is complete and I have all required items. Editor will have the report by noon tomorrow."

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

I appreciate that advice!

I am blind; it's in the guidelines - 24 hours. Phew!

I feel like H.S. Brands is the only MSC that tends to have restaurant/bar shops due by midnight. Barbaric!

I used to do bartender compliance shops for HS that required you to visit between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. I worked a second-shift job until 11:30 p.m. then and you had to stay at least one hour, so generally I'd hit the establishment around 11:45 and leave about 12:45. It amused me that the guidelines continued to list the deadline as midnight even though I was still "in the field" at that hour. They obviously bent the rule in that case but I always made sure to file before going to bed.
Like the shops that "drop off your job list at midnight" They actually don't drop off until around 06:00. But there is no warning when they do, you can be happily typing away and when you finish it or try to save it because you've been working on it for more than 30 minutes, it disappears and you lost everything.

This may not be true with ACL, I don't think I've ever worked for them, or if I did it was in the way back machine and back in CA.
I edited for them for years. Most shops are due within 12 hours. If you reach out, and are a good shopper, it should be fine if you do it within 24 hours. You will get the standard slap on the wrist email about it being due within 12 hours next time, but that is about it. If you turn them in regularly at 24 hours (or later), that is when it is an issue. Edited to add: just read the rest of the thread. Looks like they are allowing 24 for some shops right off the bat (which they always should with an evening shop).
For the recent restaurants I visited with them, it's 24-hour from the time I left the restaurant.
They are pretty flexible. Even if you don't get it in with 24 hours, they will probably just send you a warning and say to do it.
