BARE INTERNATIONAL is TRACKING your IP ADDRESS!!!!!!!

In case anyone didn’t know, bare international tracks your internet searches on your phone. So if youve researched health issues, emailed people or had what you thought were private conversations, they weren’t. Or any other private things you do on your phone, they track your ip address. I’m sorry but what little pay they pay doesn’t give them a right to invade your privacy.
Doubt me? Ask them or read the long contract when you go to sign up.
I even reject all cookies, have a rotating ip vpn and clear my cookies every day. It makes no difference.

I had the same experience. They actually sent it in an email to me that there was unusal search activity on my ip address. Id post a screen shot if i could. Why are they tracking my ip address or looking at my searches?
Google, Facebook, Twitter, and almost every website or app that you use does the same. That's why you can casually look at a pair of pants that catch your eye in a random ad, and after that you will get bombarded by ads for that same thing. Mention to your friend that you are looking for a puppy, suddenly you're inundated with PetSmart and Petco ads. That is how the internet works.

If you don't want the apps and such to suggest things for you, don't accept cookies, don't give the apps permission to access your contacts and media files. Don't give the apps permission to access the location services (GPS) on your phone.

Stop scaring old folks.

I am not sure what is surprising here. Indeed, I would be surprised to know it was otherwise. Corporate & IT America track IP addresses. However, knowing an IP address does not mean access to one's browsing history or email. MSCs track IP addresses to catch problematic shoppers who take shops under two different names.
I've gotten in the habit of declining cookies or only accepting essential ones. Mostly because I'm tired of being advertised to 24/7.
Bought my kids some clothes and in 24 hours, received 6 emails from the store. I don't know who in their marketing department thinks that is really necessary but it is super annoying. I don't need 4 emails telling me puffer coats are on sale.
I have never accepted their cookies and as I said, I delete them every day and yet they still are tracking my web searches. And no, my location services are never on. I use software to block them and they still have managed to do it. The company I paid to stop tracking just told me it doesn’t stop every site. They don’t have many clients left but have a ton of admin people. I honestly think they are making more money off of tracking shoppers than doing mystery shopping.
Can you please quote their email? Are you sure it wasn't someone pretending to be BARE?

Everything we do digitally is transparent.
