Merc Systems' Storage Shops

It's been so long since I did one that I don't even remember when I did it last time (and it's not worth it to try to find it in my records).

Any thoughts, please? Are they pretty standard or is there anything tricky? Also, are they ever bonused?

TIA

The ones I did were audio recorded and paid a small bonus. It was pretty basic otherwise. The usual stuff. It took me the longest to try and figure out how to upload my voice recorder to the site which turned out to be pretty easy to do.

Haven't done their storage shops. Merc is one of those companies that does not really want to pay and not pay much. They lost a restaurant client that everyone loves. The reimburse/pay is much better with the new MSC.

They have a chicken client now where they offer NO pay and are super stingy with bonuses.

The good thing is they pay consistently (so far). Annoying thing is the Bill.com nonsense.
It took me a really long time to sign on to Bill.com. I had to use a different browser than chrome and that finally worked. I spent days back and forth with their help team and it was finally solved.
I like Merc. Yes, the new MSC "pays" more for that client's shops but I would rather not get gift cards. For gift cards, I only took a takeout shop. The new MSC has low pay for many of its other shops.

I don't have a problem with Bill.com, fortunately.

While I prefer the normal reimbursement, I think comparing the 2 MSC an the way they are handling it, I prefer the $100 GC (dining) over the $45 reimbursement.

Also, the $100 is given even if you only spend $40-$50. So now you get extra money. Report seems shorter and not stupid front and rear photos of restaurant.

I'm not a fan of Merc and how they handle their shops and bonuses. They seems like a West Coast version of ACL (in regards to pay).
I just did my first shop that will be paid with a gift card with the new company. The form was super easy. The only problem was it took a long time to pay because I was paying with a gift card I already had and the employee did not know how to process that. That happened during a previous shop, too.
Sounds like a training issue. Did you include that in your shop report?
I would think a server would immediately seek help rather than waste time trying to figure it out.
