Considering it got the attention of you, an extremely busy commenter on here, it seems to be working. Visibility is key. Have a great day, Busy.
maybe you can put that energy into convincing them to offer better compensation. I don't care how pretty their website is, their compensation is significantly lower than other shops in my area (southern Mass/RI)

It is not exactly new. Besides, no one really cares how pretty it looks. It is all about the fees. What shoppers don't like is the silly games of labeling us. Basic, Privileged, whatever - its offensive. Shoppers are professional; we don't deserve - nor like - being treated like children.

Perhaps this announcement is in the wrong place but I have not done shops for this company for some time as they have not had any decent ones in my area. I am not familiar with Emily B for this reason. But I used to love them. Then years ago they changed their website making it nearly impossible to find shops in my area which has over 50 different cities and ten million of people in a reasonable distance. It became impossible to find shops easily. This new website makes it so much easier so I am happy to hear. I stopped logging on due to the difficulty in finding shops here. Logged in today and found one nearby in a few seconds. Thanks for the redesign. I care and can start shopping with SS again. I also find their pay competitive since we do not get bonuses here often.
Yeah, great. Those pretty purple, "raffle eligible" bubbles really make me want to do a 2 hour, $15 shop. Not.
I used to complete shops for Secret Shopper. I never flaked or cancelled. I now am "basic," even though I completed 22 shops with no issues. The shop pay is too low and the shops are far away, so I do not take them. I'm not driving 60 miles for $15. But, "basic?!?" According to the site, that's reserved for people who are unreliable. It's offensive.

Emily B, thoughts?
Their new system demoted me from Privileged to Basic (their entry level) after doing work for them almost fifteen years.

Same situation as Niner--most of their shops are too far for the fees offered, hence I could only do them as an add on to other companies' shops. With the COVID era inflation/price increases I had to set a minimum shop fee, and sadly most of theirs don't qualify. So lately I've done approximately one shop for them every other month for these reasons.

They def need to rethink their categorization scheme.
