intellishop green storage company audit

I have done many of these in Mass and RI with no problem. Well, I did one in Florida, and that was my mistake. I was checking over my credit card statement and I saw that they automatically charged me for the rental unit the day after I did the shop and cancelled the rental. This is really odd. Like when I was there in the store she processed the cancellation and the next day I got a text for that . However, they later charged me for the unit. I'm wondering if this is a fraudulent charge and the employee was being scummy. I just emailed the scheduler and the general company. To be honest I feel like calling the location tomorrow and tearing someone a new one. Anyway, do you think Intellishop will handle this and reimburse me? Will I need to have the location handle it? Or do I open a dispute with the credit card as a fraudulent charge?

Don't need to rip anybody a new one. You have the text with the cancellation date and time. As long as you cancelled within the window, just screenshot it. Call your credit card bank and tell them you want to dispute the charge and you have the text as backup proof. May not be fraud, may be an error - doesn't matter because you have the proof and the bank will cover you (or they should, most do)

Lol rip em a new one is just a way to express how pissed I am. Like I don’t need this hassle right now in my life. Obviously I start off cordially.

They requested payment from your credit card company. It posted. You cancelled. Give it until THE NEXT DAY!

Give them a chance to process the reversal!

Um I saw the pending purchase and charge online that very day (April 21). (with these assignments the charge and credit show up just as pending charges and don’t actually end up
Posting. If you are familiar with these assignments you would know that). What I’m talking about was an additional charge that was done the next day! On April 22. Somehow an automated charge happened the next day. I saw this on May 10. No credit. Just a charge and the type of charge was a “card not present one” (they have a specific term they use for that) . Then I looked at my old texts from ESS. there was the one that welcomes me to unit, the one that says it was cancelled, and then form the following day a text that I was charged (I hadn’t rally paid attention to that one).
