CX Orlando: A good experience

Since there is very little on here about this MSC I thought I'd post about my first time shopping for them. They have a client which is an Asian eatery which I believe originated in the UK and is generally found in large and tourist-friendly urban areas. They used to be shopped by the UK-based HGEM/MysteryDining.net. (As an aside, I was recently visiting an area in the UK where HGEM has shops and discovered they had deactivated me because I didn't log in for six months, and apparently I can't ever get my account back. Oh well! I don't think they have had any US shops in quite a while.)

When I needed to make a slight date adjustment the CX Orlando scheduler got back to me right away. The guidelines and survey were clear and reasonable. On the day of my shop there was a small change to the purchasing requirements and the MSC proactively emailed me about it. (A pet peeve with ACL is how guidelines will change post-assignment without any notification.)

About I submitted the survey the shop was quickly approved and I was paid the full amount due within the promised time frame.

The only detractor was that when doing the survey in Gigspot I found that I couldn't upload the photos on my phone, save the survey, and then finish the narrative on my computer. The survey won't save unless every field is filled out with the required number of characters. I've never encountered this before, although I often have other frustrating issues when trying to toggle between my phone and computer in Gigspot. The next time I shop for CX Orlando I'll just email myself the photos, download them to my computer, and do the entire report on there.

There are several instances of character requirements in GigSpot reports for different MSC’s. GS support notes the perimeters are set by the MSC. It’s so silly to block submission when a sentence or two takes care of it and you’re blocked from submitting because there aren’t 200 characters for an area that’s an “N/A.”

I’ve noticed that photo uploads are in issue if:
1- you don’t have a strong signal
2- you’re logged in on more than ine device
3- you’ve already “checked for completion” and gotten the go-ahead to submit and you want to add another image.

Sometimes I can bypass the block by saving the current version on the device, logging out of all, then logging back in on last used device and waiting for it all to synchronize with the rotating circle symbol.

Hope this helps.

It didn’t help during the global Internet issues. I was so glad I saved a pdf and screen shots of what I was inputting on Sassie or I would have had to start over.
I did my first assignment with them over the summer while in New York. It was also an Asian eatery and the food was really good. I share your positive experience with the company. Everything went well from assignment to payment.
