IHG ANNOUNCED INSPECTION : PHOTOS OF BEVERAGE PROGRAM

sorry for the all-caps, i cut and paste from the MSC's website, I'm not screaming smiling smiley

Has anyone done one of these? It's for an MSC that is notorious for being onerous in its reporting, and guidelines say to expect it to take 2 hours - does it take 2 hours to take pictures of booze? Hope someone can explain actual experience.

It did not take me two hours to do. But I typically take a copy of the report and take all photos first, then submit it into the report later.
I've done a few awhile back. About an hour's total time if memory serves. Very easy, and the staff was super nice even though I was interrupting their happy hour.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
It depends on the location to some extent. I did the first one for this project over a year ago. It took more than an hour but less than two.
The large hotels have a lot of different liquors.
Incidentally, I haven’t been able to get assigned to any lately, at least in the areas I want.
The good thing is that there isn’t much of a report other than the photos.
Since nobody mentioned a client who is the MSC please?

Sorry, didn't know what IHG was.

IHG usually stands for International Hotel Group, which includes Holiday Inn, Intercontinental, Crown Plaza, and many more. Some of these brands have bars, so counting bottles would be plausible.

Shopping South Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Delaware above the canal since 2008
I saw some of these posted as well. It may be the same company that the original poster as thinking of as I find this MSC to be fairly exhausting when it comes to post reporting questions (even though the answers were in the report)...

Glad to hear they aren't too crazy. What is the typical pay for one of these assignments? There is no fees in the one that I see listed so I am skeptical...
