Confero / Karma happened and justice is served

I don't know if any of you remember my previous posts where their scheduler removed 11 accepted and confirmed shops from my job log. Some of these shops had a $10 bonus because they were close to 75 miles from Dallas. The majority of them were not bonused.

The scheduler had posted on the Facebook page that she had several people on Facebook that seemed to be new friends of hers. I wasn't aware of this until someone posted the information on this forum. It has taken me this long to post because I wanted to receive all the money I was owed before addressing this issue again.

I have always had a 9 or 10 rating with all the mystery shop companies that I have worked for. I did contact Eileen, the owner of Confero about this issue. She replied and asked me to send her the list of shops that were removed from my job log. I did this and never received a reply from her again. I emailed her again to see if she had received my email. Again, no reply. After that, I uninstalled the Confero app from my phone and have never worked for them since.

Out of curiosity, a few weeks later, I got on their website to see if anyone was picking up the shops I used to work. There were quite a few available. I clicked on one to self-assign though I was not going to pick a date and work it. What I thought would happen had happened. This scheduler had blocked me from working the shops. I clicked on another scheduler's shops and I could have accepted the shops. I did not schedule any. I will not work for them again, ever.

In November, I started receiving friendly emails from this scheduler asking me if I was available to work these shops. I deleted the emails without responding. This week, I have received 2 more emails from her. This morning, I received a friendly text asking if I could work these shops for her. I replied. I reminded her of what she had done and told her that I had uninstalled their app and would never work for Confero again. Her reply: Yikes, ok

I sense that she is trying to act like she doesn't remember. I do. I have been doing great without working for Confero and don't have to wait 2 months to get reimbursed for the shops. This has been a nice Christmas surprise for me. We mystery shoppers work hard to make a living and deserve a little respect. I will say that the other schedulers at Confero have always been friendly and respectful. Merry Christmas !!!!

Good for you for taking a stand. Very smart of you to wait until the check clears to discuss it.
Wait... Confero has an app? I've only seen the Sassie site and sometimes Presto.
Know where to get it? I have been using Sassie on my phone. Sassie on a phone is not an app.
Didn't see anything in the Google Playstore that could possibly be it. Is it only for Apples?
I have an apple and don't see it.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
Since I do a bit of their merch work, I think I would have known about it. I am Droid though.
I've never seen an app for Sassie shops.
I have horror stories about not getting paid. So I never worked for them.
Dino states, concerning Confero--I have horror stories about not getting paid. So I never worked for them.

Bob comments- I have been contracted with Confero since 12/05 and have completed 52 shops without any pay problems. In addition, I do not recall ever reading any horror stories concerning unpaid money. As it applies to me, the money arrives inside of 60 days. In that I am aware of the payment terms, I do not object to such timing. IF. though, that were a problem, I would merely pass on the company.
