Intouch Insight removed the bonus after a shop had been completed and approved

Helping them to meet the EOQ goal, I snuck in an extra shop on December 31 for a $10 bonus. It was completed and approved that day.

A week later (Jan 7) I see in the announcement log that that it was switched to "Declined". The body of that says it's "declined with pay", which is confusing but I guess it's not really my business. Except I see it in pending payments and now the bonus is gone.

On top of this, I can't even get an explanation. I replied with an RFA and got nothing back in over 2 days. I tried emailing the scheduler for the shops, and to her credit she wrote write back. But only to say "I didn't cancel it, I know nothing." I'm not naming anyone because I'm not trying to call out individuals, but now my bonus disappeared thanks to a first name with no contact info and no explanation.

And based on my spreadsheet, I don't even think this is the first time I had a bonus disappear from an Intouch Insight shop in iSecretShop. Previously I chalked it up to my own error in recordkeeping. But this time I'm on top of it and still can't get an answer. Best case is I'm doing all this work to get the money we already agreed to.

I've had the exact thing happen to me. The "declined with pay" for mine was because they posted the job when it wasn't supposed to be posted. They didn't realize it until after I've completed it, and they tried to submit it to the client. I am not sure why your bonus is gone, though. Do you have the email showing the bonus was added?

I might have the email. (They've been inconsistent.) I definitely have the text messages, because this was directly promised and assigned by the scheduler. But unless I go the direction of small claims court I don't think it's an issue of proof at this point so much as getting someone to acknowledge my existence.
I hope the scheduler will get back with you after the weekend.

I regularly do some gas stations for them, and they want you to purchase a non-fuel item with a reimbursement of $2.
One of the stores I regularly visit was under extensive remodeling and the convenience store section was set up in a temporary trailer, and the only other items for sale were tobacco products. Since that is also a prohibited purchase, I went ahead and purchased fuel to get a receipt figuring they would see in the notes and pictures that it was under construction.
They removed the reimbursement amount. It was only $2, but I reached out to the scheduler asking what else I should have done in that situation for future reference, and she didn't respond. I emailed again to the payments inbox, which forwarded it back to the scheduler who said fuel was not an approved purchase. I clarified that I was asking what I should have done in that situation instead of purchasing and got no response.
Normally, I would terminate them (as our favorite ShopperBob would say), but since I do a lot of simple shops with them and was going to fill my tank anyway, I ate the $2 but was still annoyed.
Yeah, I'm SOL. The scheduler just says "I can't help you" and the account manager just flat out ignores any RFA or email.

As far as I'm concerned, you're lying thieves now, Intouch Insight. Don't expect any future favors from me.
I’ve had three go-rounds and took the last all the way to the top, and it was still declined, even though I did everything right…something about “times are tough”…
Yea right! It was an underpaid gig for a multibillion corporate client.

Fool me once…
I let the VP who fed me that reply know I wouldn’t be doing any more assignments for them and wished them a Merry Christmas before the conversation ended.

In my experience, Seelevel and Alta were excellent companies to work for. The schedulers were responsive and helpful, they treated me fairly, and I never had any issues with payment or getting properly completed shops accepted. Intouch had always been a little shady to me in my experience.

For a while, I still had a good experience with the projects and schedulers that were absorbed when intouch bought those two companies. Slowly, the schedulers became less responsive until eventually There became radio silence. Now I no longer do any of those projects unless a high pig shop happens to fall into my lap.
